Budget direct seems to be the cheapest for travel insurance and an extra 10% off is the icing on the cake.

so which one
Here is Choice's comparison from last month which would be a good starting point.
Thanks for this.
Budget Direct Comprehensive got a 66% - which doesn't seem too bad when the top ranked only got a 73%.@blaircam: It must be pointed out, that they are only comparing the included coverage. They aren't rating service or anything like that (otherwise they'd have to buy and claim on 144 insurance policies which might raise some questions and cost a bit of money)
@douglasac10: I did wonder about this as they include a 'claims score'. This seems to be based just on complaints to the FOS. Not sure that is a great measure…
any evidence? I found your post quite BS
Any recommendations on the best insurer for an annual multi-trip policy?
Worldcare travel insurance. very good and covers you in australia and overseas for car hire:) i have used them heaps and very good and always very well priced:)
I know this is Ozbargain but when it comes to travel insurance you are best seeking a more reputable travel insurance company than Budget Direct. The reviews i have read are not very favourable, yes there are people that have 'never had a problem' with them but you are better off spending the extra 20-30 bucks on more favourable company sometimes. There are comparison websites out there that will stack up all the travel insurance companies.
