  • $69 for 7 months… or I believe they are still offering $99 for 12 months if ordered before November 30.

    • Completely correct, that is a better deal for locals. - http://www.dreamworld.com.au/Visitor-Information/$99-Real-Deal.aspx

I didn't post it as it is due to expire in the next few days, and OZBargain is national people may be holidaying to the coast and not need the extra dates/want a cheaper pass.

  • when does this deal expire?

    • I can't find the expiry date anywhere on the website. No doubt someone will call up soon to find out then post up the details

    • No Expiry currently, this is their "Summer Deal"….

Do you think the Movieworld VIP pass gives you more value?
Btw, if you have entertainment book, you can get 10% off from $69. Unfortunately they don't have it for movieworld VIP passes, only for dreamworld.

I believe its horses for courses. Just depends what you are looking for since both passes provide a water theme park. However, I will offer this opinion; dreamworld pass for throw up rides and vip pass for family fun (not to say dreamworld isn't a family park though - it very much is but more value for the vip if you have a family).

      Other considerations:
Seaworld has a new water play area for free which is a lot of fun for the kids too.
wetnwild gives you dive in movies in summer
VIP gives discounts to outback spectacular (i think) which is discounted by $25 for everyone for one more week only anyway
Movieworld is offering the winter wonderland free for all VIP pass holders for i think 2 weeks
Dreamworld also gives you access to the laser and light show at night

    • You dont get 10% Off with the entertainment book for this pass, only off standard entry passes.

      • They have a special bonus offer until 31 January 2011. Check it again. http://www.dreamworld.com.au/Campaign/Entertainment-Book.asp…

        • Sorry, Correct that brings it down to $62.10…

Assumed their was no special offer (as usual with these pases). I have a affiliate agreement with dreamworld (although I have not used it on here) The affiliate program does not even give a commission on these "special" tickets.

  • "Available to all Australian & New Zealand residents"
Why residents only? So my girlfriend can't get this just because she's not yet a resident here? That sucks >_<

    • what do you mean? does she live here but is not a resident? there are ways to cheat the system. Don't worry about it.

    • not hard to get around if you really need to… at the end of the day I expect they make more money from drinks etc sold in the park than they do on these tickets.

      • Correct, Movie World for example do not include drinks with meals anymore.

    • Someone is going to be upset but if they don't make money from foreign visitor.. Where else would they make money from? LOL..
