This is the 20th time this seller has spammed this site….when will he be banned?

Seller now averages just 1.3 votes per deal!

Them asking to hype up his website is pretty clear evidence they're more interested in increasing hits on their site rather than giving a proper deal.

        • +2

Indeed, I'm not sure he knows what a bargain is (at least in the context of this site)….he highlights he's cheaper than DX by 80cents, but since when is $0.80 off a generic headset a bargain??!!

No REP in Ozbargain history has ever made so many posts, and received so few positives.

        • I'd give him/her credit for showing a comparison against DealExtreme.

I … am unfamiliar with dinodirect?

Fighting like a bunch of girls. I'm guessing he's just trying to feed his family. Cut him some slack guys :)

mate, stop sleeping with the enemy

I just think you guys are too critical on this fella. If You don't like his products. Don't buy no need to ruin any chances for him to make a sale. U guys are jet being rude and petty.

The purpose of this site is not for free advertising 'to feed your family'…

what planet are you on !? This site is not a charity or an advertisement board.

    No deal…cheaper elsewhere

  • -2

someone always has the item for a little less, i think you should vote on the merits of the deal only as/when listed, not how much cheaper the item is somewhere else, we'll be here all day if that was the case for all postings-besides where do you draw the line on how much cheaper the deal needs to be?

    • +4

i think you should vote on the merits of the deal only as/when listed, not how much cheaper the item is somewhere else

But the entire basis of this site is obtaining a price for a product that is "significantly" cheaper than elsewhere….hence comparing what it is sold for elsewhere!

*What is "Significantly" cheaper will depend on the product category.

  • hmm, well ok, should we let talk about what we mean by 'significant'? should we factor in things like pickup/delivery/handling/credit card etc charges? that's what i meant before, you look at the whole deal with strings/benefits attached, retailers know consumers love to compare so some of them make it as hard as possible to make direct comparisons!

  • Did the OP just unpublish a comment by the OP?

    • Yep, I unpublished my own :P

  • hmmm … they do have some curious items there though … I'm partly hoping they stop spamming us with common items that are not competitive and look into what they have that could be useful and is different.

I also hope they get a better translator and are more thorough in the description and take better photos as some of the following are examples of different items (that a better translation and better photos might help with)

wondering what people thought of this?
kind of odd, switched international powerboard which plugs into a single Australian socket. Note though, the pins are in the middle of the back of the board. If the board is over an existing powerboard, it may block multiple slots.

But if you were going to use those points for some international sockets anyway

Price is $12.34 … you could probably save a few dollars if you have an existing powerboard and pick up some cheap adaptors, but the power splitter / power board feature is nice where you only have one socket at the moment. Plus it seems to be switched.
