9now Free Movie: Pokémon The Movie I Choose You

1440

Watch the new pokémon movie "I choose you" for free by 9now.

Relive your childhood memories of where your pokémon journey began, unless your one of those people who played the game first and is now regretting that poor life decision.

See how the new generation disrespect these memories with the electrical rats infamous words.

Remember how catching them all starts with just one… And notice that after 20 years, ash has only managed to catch a total of 54 pokemon.

So what can I say except it's free?

I remember the first Pokémon movie was pretty full on for a kid's movie back in the day, all of Ash's Pokémon were fighting their clones(cloned by Mewtwo) but somehow their abilities were disabled so they just stood their pounding the shit out of each other until they collapsed from exhaustion.

Great moments though, if you say you didn't cry when Ash cried in THAT scene you're an android or a liar. Wonder how the new movie compares, time to give it a watch!

If you watched the original series, then this movie will tug on a few heartstrings.

Nah, I cried when Pikachu was crying; when Ash got stoned.

      • That's what I meant ^^

  • Sadly, my childhood memories do not include Pokémon. :-(
Happily, there was similar things like lifting a rock to find a worm or a centipede or a scorpion. Or, exploring rock pools by the ocean and finding a starfish, crab or octopus. Each of these had a different value much like a Pokémon. :-)

    • real kids went outdoors

        Real unfortunate kids yea.

That is sad, but at least you have Digimon

Oh wow - Would you like a trophy or a poke badge?

But c'mon let's be serious. People who watched pokemon weren't locked in a dungeon. Surely you watched Skippy or astroboy between rock pool adventures?

Lol the "I didn't do like everyone else did so I'm special-er than you"

When in reality you're just the same as everyone else in one way or another.

        Bargainnzzzz

      • Yes, Skippy and Astroboy were fun. My comment was more to do with drawing parallels between Pokémon Go and outside adventures back in the day.

    • I had all of those things AND Pokemon. I feel sorry for you.

  • OMG i remember crying watching this.

  • I think I played the game before the movie came out, but I think I started watching the tv series first.

Also, I got all 151 pokemon in the original yellow version, you don't get anything at all for catching all 150/151.

    • Scientist in Silph Co gives you a "certificate" and if you have a GameBoy Printer you can print it onto a sticker.

      • Like I said, nothin. ;)

  • Thanks but is there a method I can stream it from the pc to the tv using a chromecast?

    • Use Chrome to open the link, then cast it to the TV.

      • Thanks. In the end I just downloaded their app and they have casting built in so I used that.

'I want to be the very best that no one ever was' honestly thing this line should be put in another song - Also such a good msg to kids to strive to achieve greatness not to expect everything to be handed to them biggest difference between western and eastern culture if you ask me

  • Nice find! And I only saw this in the cinema last month. Doh!

  • Thanks OP, was hoping this would be on catchup. I was flicking around the channels on Sunday arvo and caught this about halfway through on 9Go - surprised to see a relatively new release screening there.

  • Is there a 9Now ripper so I can watch it offline on my phone later?

It's viewable if you can "sail the high seas" so to speak ;)

  • "I wanna be… the very best…"
