I thought I should mention that even though I already have the 140GB for $70 I went on the live chat and they signed me up to this $52.50 for 140GB deal. I will be getting a new sim probably early next week. At first they said there would be a cancellation fee, but then apparently there wasn't. So it pays to visit the optus site regularly.
Yeah home internet is so old style now. Just use mobile then tether to laptop but difficult if you have nas, server, smart TV, etc
You could pick up a e5573(4G modem) for cheap and have all your wifi devices connect to it.

It's actually a 2 year contract for 140GB @ 52.50 per month, according to the live chat operator. After that, back to $70 I would assume.
Low data users can be much better off with mobile now.
Plus you have the added benefit of having internet access wherever you go and most also provide unlimited calls & texts.

Optus have a deal on 52.50 a month 140GB. The speed are better than the one you referenced. I get around 10-20mb /5-12mb down and up.
