These have been coming down, previously in Thingz, Bunnings, Aldi for $49-$69, e.g. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/344377 for $49.

There's multiple versions:
* 5V mains powered, with a 3V lithium RF wireless remote control (I got an older one of these, one control worked on two projectors at once) or 12V alkaline RF wireless remote control
* Solar powered with 3* NiMH batteries
* Some projecting small designs as well as a "spinning star cascade"
* Some non-laser LED projectors with a replaceable picture "card" slot

I think 29.99 is not for solar.

OP’s description says it is solar powered. But on website says solar version is 69$.

  In-store, SKU 428609, 428615 and 428616 were all at $29.99.
  I got 428609 (with remote), but the solar model (without remote, top right of photo) was also labelled $29.99.

For people not in WA, the LaserMax non-moving one was going for $35 at BigW. It's no longer listed on their website, in-store stock only.

The LaserMax Moving model was $55, the Pattern Moving model was $95. There were a handful left at Big W Stafford QLD on Thursday.
