Amazing price for the 2GB RAM model, usually costs this price for the 1GB model. 71 units in stock at time of post, great stocking filler too.
Adapter is US so will need a AU converter adapter

It runs Android OS, comes preloaded with Netflix, YouTube apps etc. I'm not sure if Kodi comes preinstalled in this box, but I'm guessing it does as most Chinese boxes do so basically you can watch any tv show/movie for free and browse the web, install apps from Google Play and use it as a media player
It runs Android, so anything you can do with compatible Android apps - which should include Kodi and its many plugins.
probably worth spending 5 bucks more getting something decent
here's a good review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4ZtxRcxgsY
Could you share the link for another box of more value for under $40? Most are under 1GB ram, this box doesn't have Bluetooth but it's still great value for money. Faster than the MXQ boxes too

code: AU112927
its $34 AUD
read all the reviews there, here it is on youtube also
Mate it's $42 for the 2gb RAM. $34 is for the 1gb.
@HandsomeMonkey: can you read mate, its $42 before the coupon code
get back to school
@HandsomeMonkey: It does for the item, but look at the subtotal amount.
@donkey: ouch that's a little harsh bro, thought you are right the 2gb version is $42 before coupon.
Me personally I would only buy an Android box with 2gb of ram otherwise it's a little too laggy for me (and I'm a specs nut :).
Cheers bro :)
Does this have Bluetooth?
No Bluetooth
After watching that video, ill give this a miss. The wifi issue would be a major issue for me, as I can't hardwire this box into my router.
What difference does 2GB make? Games?
I'm running LibreElec in 1GB and there seems to be plenty of ram free.
No point running netflix/youtube/etc on this as it will be 480p only.
Box will stay cooler, less heat and it will run apps more snappy. I have YouTube etc running 1080p, not sure what you mean by 480p
I thought most android boxes lack the Widevine DRM and authorisation for HD youtube.
Certainly very rare for HD netflix to work. Funny thing is, people don't notice the difference.
Yeah, it's surprising how many people don't notice Netflix isn't HD - HD YouTube is a bit more forgiving and I've had it work on many boxes but Netflix needs Widevine L1 to function (and ideally be certified so you can use the standard Netflix apps).
@Darkscythe: I always have to have the highest res (that matches my display), everytime I watch a DVD Blu-ray the resolution and how it's encoded is always on my mind, I always appreciate something that looks good and sounds good, if it doesn't it annoys me a lot throughout the movie, I'm the only one in my family that gets bothered by this.
@Wystri Warrick: Haha. With you on that. I'm a stickler for high quality and having my video output match the file. I find it hard to watch 24p content at 60Hz - Surely, I'm not the only one though! :P
What does this actually do? Bit of a layperson when it comes to the latest gadgets?
Can i watch o/s tv channels, like satellite dish the Chinese and Italians have installed?
Cheers
