Not the cheapest, but good deal direct from Bose. 30 day money back guarantee so you can try before you buy.
Series II not worth it for iOS as it only adds Google Assistant

Does II have a built in Google Home?
It has a button which you can use to activate the Google Assistant or alternatively, set the mode of noise cancelling (Low/High/Off I think).
So, you can use it to make phone calls and reminders or ask random questions that enter your mind?
yeah that's the jist of it man
@xis123: Not sure why I was downvoted. That's kind of what a Google Home does.
Yeah Google Home utilises the Google Assistant. So I see where you're coming from haha
@xis123: 1 downvote on each comment now. Someone's really determined today.
@lostn:
Ha, it ain't me..
I'll upvote you man - it's Friday! Wooo@lostn: Probably the same people who keep up-voting this "deal"
My series 1 QC35's have the ability to change the mode of noise cancelling after a firmware update via the app. It seems that the Google Assistant
addition is one of the only changes.
There is a cheaper price. QC35 II $398 delivered. https://www.videopro.com.au/p-11185-bose-qc35-ii-quiet-comfo…
Has been cheaper than that before too
I bought my QC35 II for $389 and they were on here even cheaper a few weeks ago.
This is a very bad price.
Not a bargain.
Paid $377 for series 2 better luck next time.
I paid 360 not bad for that price
Lol no deal
How is this a deal when you can get series 2 for cheaper?
This is actually cheap by "Bose" standards, just as a 1% discount is cheap by Apple Store standards.
I got Series II for $379 last month.
I wouldn't say this is a dealsame price as jb hifi before haggling.
lol
as everyone is saying, you can get a better price for the series II !! :P
I would buy series I if it was under $300. I don't really like "talking to myself" in public so the assistant just seems socially awkward to use. If I see someone with a hidden bluetooth earpiece walk by me and start talking, I often think they were talking to me.
My friend got bose QC35 II and mine is Sony 1000 MX2. We both agreed that sony still won this time
How is this a deal? This is the normal retail price…of the QC35 II's!
I just got the series 2 for $333 from Harvey Norman
How did you manage to score that??
Yes, sorry, it includes amex deal.
Got Harvey Norman to price match Video Pro, that has it on sale for $433 at the moment.
$433 - $100 amex offer = $333.

Enjoy!
Thanks!
Also.. TRS if you happen to be travelling
OMG!
It's even cheaper at Video Pro now!
$398!!
@skysky: Price protection guarantee?
Does that include amex?
seriously! how?
I don't understand why these aren't cheaper, and have seemingly disappeared from other retailers now. I'd like to purchase series 1 for my father (who doesn't have a smart phone, let alone any use for Google Assistant). Still waiting for a good deal to appear…
Not bad if you want an Airline Adaptor, and a spot for it in the case. Otherwise no deal…
I got these for $259~ from Harvey Norman after TRS, $50 bonus gift card and AMEX offer.
Series 1 a discontinued model still going for this price?. I thought it would be like $250 by now. These manufacturers are price gouging aussies. Australia retail tax is alive and well.
Good one OP. At $1 less for $398 delivered you can get the Bose QC35 II from Videopro (Australian stock). This price here for this old model is no deal.
https://www.videopro.com.au/p-11185-bose-qc35-ii-quiet-comfo…
So OP. I do hope you didn't rip yourself off by paying this $399 for the old discontinued model when you can get the new QC35 II model for $1 less.
Why would you post as a bargain when you said yourself "Not the cheapest".
The advantage of buying through the BOSE store is you can return it, within 30 days, if you aren't happy with how it performs. I wouldn't be buying these earphones at that price but it is worth going to the Bose store when they have sales of old stock or to ask them to price match against some other stores. I got a good pair of the QC20is at a sub $300 price tag (I think roughtly $270 from memory). It meant I could try them out and return them if I wasn't happy with them. I kept them as they are great for travel and work well on trams.
Why 7 people upvoted this deal?
Surely when you're writing "Not the cheapest", you'd think to yourself "Why am I posting this then?"
By the OP. It's not a good deal from Bose. It's a crappy deal.
No one in their right mind would pay $399 for a discontinued model (QC35 original).
This is not the place to start your post with "Not the cheapest"
What are my chances of Harvey Norman price matching this and then adding $1 item to use the Amex deal? Bose website says it's a clearance item so not too hopeful…
Why would you price match this when you could price match the Bose QC35 II deal from Videopro $398. People have successfully been getting HN and Officeworks to price match that Videopro deal.
Thanks! You've sorted Dad for Christmas!
Not a deal when the superseding version can be cheaper than this price.
To all the people hating on this post, firstly calm down some of your comments are quite rude. Ozbargain is supposed to be a positive community.
Secondly, Bose has a 30 day money back guarantee, so for people wanting to try the headphones risk free, this could be a good option. This is something not available at Video Pro or other retailers.
Additionally, for iOS users, the Series I and II are practically identical.
Bro you kidding me?
What is the difference between the iOS and the Android Versions?
Series 2 is worth it when you can find it cheaper than this price. No deal
