Very nice deal, :) and with 3 slots of DDR3 and a PCI-E 16x slot for an added videocard! this system would play games very smooth.
Cheap price.
But last year's system, at best.
i3 or nothing.
There is a Shuttle System that takes i3/i5/i7 LGA 1156 socket CPU's but it costs as much for the barebone as this package deal.
Can I buy one without the CPU? Already got a E6600 sitting here doing nothing.
Looks like they are selling the case + motherboard + pre installed DVD Writier also
( but it lacks RAM, CPU, and hard drive )http://www.expresspcparts.com.au/Items/drp-111-alt-sg41j1-od…
@expresspcparts
any chance of offering the following deal for $199?
http://www.expresspcparts.com.au/Items/drp-111-alt-sg41j1-od…
Yes, it's $110 less without CPU, RAM and HDD. Which are worth about $90, $30 and $40 respectively. So a better deal with them included, unless of course you don't need them.
Not a bad price for a package deal.
Just wondering if you get DDR2 or DDR3 RAM?
Not very nice if you only get DDR2.It is 2GB DDR3, we are offering CORSAIR memory.
@dmc900, as per your suggestion we have added a limited qty of the barebones on its own @ our daily deals section of our website. can't do it at $199 sorry, we put it at the best price we can.
Is this sold out already? I can't see it.
This?
It was right there, in their daily deals section. $220 though as they said they couldn't do it for $199.
hey, i was wondering is it possible to add a video card, i know due to space constraints would be hard, but anything small like a 5750 in their?
dont wry just saw the power supply, no way id be able to run a video card on that
We got numerous requests for another shuttle with more grunt, and we just made a special for today: http://www.expresspcparts.com.au/Items/spe-111-alt-sa76g2-pc
The case looks kinda cool, seems like a nice compact comp for a media centre or something. Depressing though that the specs pretty much match my current desktop. I foresee an upgrade soon.
