David Jones Discount

My partner has found a Christmas tree from David Jones that she really wants. 213cm Aspen Christmas Tree for anyone interested http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/ProductDisplay?catalogId=1…

So essentially she wants this ASAP but right now it is full price, no discount codes and only the Amex offer. Anyone got any good bargain tips for getting this any cheaper? Obviously there is a good chance it will be cheap post Xmas but unfortunately that would have been a great initiative to do last year.

I'm trying to get the discounted gift cards but they won't arrive quick enough. I've also got the Amex deal but that is only $30 off

        Irony. More seriously though, good luck, but unsurprisingly Christmas trees are pretty much a "full freight" item in early December.

    I wish I knew somebody who worked at David Jones and was able to give me a staff discount.

    But 150$ gift card with 10% discount. To get $15 off. Use rest with amex deal to get $30. And when buying use cash rewards to get i think 7% on whole of $299.
