Why better it records last minutes before leaving car. Also good in car parks
Do you know how these dash cams work?
They all normally auto shutdown within a second or two after you turn off the car engine.
I thought the rechargeable battery would keep it going
@sn809: The built-in battery only has small capacity, probably only last 10 minutes before it goes flat. Not much use if you intend to park your car for a couple of hours.
@edfoo: Do you know of a decent dashcam worthy of Ozbargain?
@sn809: I think most ozbargainer own 1 G1W-CB

The G sensor triggers automatic recording.
@sn809: You just missed that deal on VIOFA A119S for $86. It is more expensive but it is much better than this.
When Repco have a decent and usable online ordering system, I'll consider buying stuff from them.
Always check Dashcamtalk for reviews.
I wish they do the 30% off for auto club members this weekend, will make for a decent deal.
Good of you to highlight that "internal rechargeable battery". Best to avoid in a dash cam.
