NCTVEGAN17

To celebrate the long awaited opening of Australia's Largest Online Vegan T-Shirt shop, they are offering 10% off your full order until the end of the year.
Do you have a vegan friend or sibling that is difficult to buy for Christmas. get them a Vegan T-shirt!

At No Cruel Tee we want everyone to wear a vegan message. And we understand that some people want to shout from the roof tops and make it obvious that they are vegan whereas others want to keep it subtle and discreetly share that they too are vegan. We have everyone covered. Some designs simply spell it out and others subtly share the vegan message.

At No Cruel Tee we believe clothing should last you more than a single season. We source high quality garments and use the latest, eco friendly printing technology to ensure your t-shirt lasts the tests of life.

We also print on demand, therefore, eliminating potentially wasted, unwanted garments piling up in a warehouse only to become landfill.

What about the T shirt isnt vegan?

      • +2

What on earth are you on with your "focussed buyer" comment?
What deluded, arrogant crap is that??
YOU are selling a product, so make it appealing to to your customers. Explain it. Make it attractive, tell people about its virtues. You know, actually SELL IT.

"Focussed buyer". Really man, what utter nonsense.

        • -8

          Well that escalated!

Those looking for Vegan products aren't going to bother commenting here. They go straight to the offer.

        • +2

@levonau: Can see you're trying to keep your cool from other posts but "focussed buyer" loses me too. The best defence isn't exclusively offence ya know.

        • @levonau: lemmings? fanatics?

        • +5

          @levonau:
"Those looking for Vegan products aren't going to bother commenting here"

So the logical conclusion becomes: "why did you bother posting then?
You urgently need to get someone with the early beginnings of a clue about online sales.

      • How many plants are killed to make a single shirt?

"Do you have a vegan friend or sibling that is difficult to buy for Christmas"

    No.

"Printed in Australia | Sold in Australian Dollars | Posted from within Australia"
Where are the t-shirts (fabric/materials) made?

  • +3

Cool, I'll spend the 10% I say on delicious meat.

    Vegan T-Shirts.
Sounds like the start of a bad joke.

And wow, how much do you charge for a coloured t shirt made in China/Bangladesh?!

  • +6

Might buy one to use as a bib while I eat my turkey and ham on Xmas day

  • +3

Most of those shirts just have a single fruit or vege word on them. What's the appeal? Not that I would wear one anyway.

    • The A-peel. Ha! good one.

  • +7

I have it on good authority that like most things vegan, these shirts taste bland and are not really proper food.

  • +12

how can you tell when someone is a vegan?
    - Don't worry, they'll tell you

    • +1

"collapsed, off topic"………….seriously?????? a humour check is really needed here.

      Very on topic and…funny IMHO.

    • Same applies to atheists.

  • Might wanna register for GST, Dale.

Thanks it's all in progress. Still under threshold.

      • Real nerds do a "whois" lookup on the domain.

GST registration is a pain, and increases prices to consumer customers.
Only worthwhile if selling lots to businesses, assuming you are under the $75k threshold.

    Here for the comments.

Btw I still dont understand how a shirt becomes vegan?

    • -1

I'm sticking around for the comments myself. This is crazy!
They are Vegan themed. An explanation isn't necessary for the focused buyer.

      • +9

An explanation isn't necessary for the focused buyer.

Last I checked, you're promoting/advertising your product. Yes an explanation is very necessary if you want to drum up business and not appear like you know nothing and are just pushing a shit product.

        • you know nothing and are just pushing a shit product

Truest (harshest, but truest) words I have seen in a long time.

      • Does the title need to be 'vegan designs' then? If the shirts themselves are not of a vegan standard?

      • How do you know someone is a vegan? They will tell you.

Seems your betting on a old vegan joke as a sales plan lol

  • I will make it more clear. Except fruits and veggie printings on these Tees, nothing on this T-Shirts are vegan.

    • +1

      As stated on the website..

"At No Cruel Tee we want everyone to wear a vegan message. And we understand that some people want to shout from the roof tops and make it obvious that they are vegan whereas others want to keep it subtle and discreetly share that they too are vegan. We have everyone covered. Some designs simply spell it out and others subtly share the vegan message."

Those designs are discreet and actually have the word Vegan stamped into the font. Attention to detail.

      • +4

You should have that in post description with sample product link and price.

        • Thanks for the feedback. I honestly didn't expect people to pick the website apart like that!

        • +4

@levonau: If you put enough information in post itself, you could have avoided so many questions here…

        • @levonau: "Thanks for the feedback. I honestly didn't expect people to pick the website apart like that!"
………not good, it was soooo obvious. Fuzzy thinking may be a side effect of an out of balance diet perhaps?

I'm another who instantly thought "go there for the humour".

        • @pyramid:

What are you talking about? May be you should actually check the designs before proclaiming none of them have anything on them except fruits and veggies!

        • @stonkered: Tell me what is vegan about this T-shirt except designs?

        • @pyramid:

          Did I misunderstood this? -;

"Except fruits and veggie printings on these Tees, nothing on this T-Shirts are vegan."

I thought you were saying there was nothing on the prints except fruits and veggies.

Apologies if that's not what you meant.

        • @levonau: lol ozb is actually one of the harshest sites for these sorts of things in my experience, but it's not to insult you. They do it to help you improve your offering and I think that's great, but if sellers don't feel that way or can't handle the feedback then it's best they move to another platform imo.

On the same hand if they posted your deal they too would either rep your store to that standard or face the gauntlet.

    • I understand pics of fruits and veges as vegans eat this…but eating dogs is not vegan though?

    "Sold in Australian dollars"

Damn, I thought I'd able to use my Monopoly money for once.

    • +2

      :)

Most, almost all, Vegan slogan shirts available are sold in USD and are posted from overseas.

      • Posted from overseas

        And yours aren't?
I'm genuinely interested as to how you can get them from China/Bangladesh to Australia without posting them.

        • +1

Using back hair as a rope and tieing them to sea turtles.

          Patent pending, jack sparrow.

  • Not bad, but some of the designs are a bit "samey". Any chance of 3XL or 4XL sizes?

    • +8

How on earth do you get to 4XL when eating nothing but veggies?

      • +4

        Beyond KFC. :)

      • +1

I'm vegan but I eat KFC and work at Maccas…

Sad part is I actually know someone like this. They are vegan as anything at a sit down restaurant but work at Maccas and regularly go to KFC. I can't stand selective veganism.

        • lol, wtf?
          "Selective veganism"? I didn't know that's even a thing. Haven't heard such a bullshit in a while :D

        • @MrTweek:
I`ve heard vegans say how it is better for you to eat vegan…there is some more bullshit for you :D

        • +1

@MrTweek: I just coined a new term, all I need know is a vine or YouTube video and I'm set for life :)

        • @pennypincher98:

You might be a bit late to that party, but that never stopped anyone from YouTube stardom. :)

Chegans (cheating vegan) are totally a thing.

          https://www.vegan.com/chegan/

        • @NoPantsToday: LOL wow Chegans is an actual term… What's a level 5 vegan out of interest?? Is that like the strictest of the strict vegans?

Didn't know it ran so deep, it could become a new religion!

        • +2

          @pennypincher98:

What's a level 5 vegan out of interest??

Doesn't eat anything that casts a shadow.

        • @NoPantsToday: lol the last level is you sit in a cave for years only eating the moss that forms in your mouth.

  • A bit off-topic but the result of this report cracked me up and improved my mood considerably:

    Yes, SPAM is vegan

Lol whoever handled the reports, I thank you for giving me a good laugh :)

  • +3

The sugar t-shirt looks good. I'm sure many non-vegans can get behind that one.
edit: $39.60 after discount, including delivery makes this offer less attractive.

I Love the Comment section :0)

    • I love instigating the comments :D
I'm just going to sit back with my popcorn now and watch it play out now its started.

Random thought: Do vegans see caged, free range, barn and home-grown eggs in the same light? All bad?

  • "long awaited"… Ok

  • +2

There's not even one vegan here saying anything yet everyone is complaining about vegans lmao, get a grip.

  • -1

…whereas others want to keep it subtle and discreetly share that they too are vegan

Do these mythical vegans you speak of all have pet unicorns?

  • Just a courtesy reminder to everyone that is commenting here; please be respectful to others & keep your responses within commenting guidelines.

You may certainly scrutinize and discuss the deal but please avoid going off-topic and / or attacking / name calling other Ozb members.

  • A business producing t-shirts identifying Vegans…
Handy for carnivores to avoid more proselytizing Vegans - by their choice of t-shirt design. Hope this takes off.

An interesting idea, strange no one has thought of labelling clothing of minority groups before🔯 (OK, it's not mandatory this time.)

  • +2

Yknow my daughter decided to go vego I thought Id spin her a BS yarn. …I told her about the militant vegetable liberation front fighting to free the vegetables from the industrial farming industry…

She said what do they eat ?

I said the get all the minerals they need from eating dirt and rocks.

But they were having problems from the mineral liberation counter evolution revolution…
Shes like what do they eat…
Nothing . They just breath air and get sunlight and photosynthesize that way ….she was like BS …..I said jokingly look it up…:P
She did . And it is an ACTUAL thing LOL!!

  • +5

others want to keep it subtle and discreetly share that they too are vegan.

I find this hard to believe.

  • -1

If everyone was an organic vegan we would need several earths to feed everyone.

    • If everyone was an organic vegan

The problem there is the "organic" part, not the vegan part.

      • The two tend to go together, though.

    • +1

No no we need to live like dinosaurs, the vegans eat the plants to get nutrients then the carnivores eat the vegans to get the nutrients.

Labelling them only makes this easier lol
