  • Saw that review on New Atlas. Would love to get a pair one day. Good luck with the startup.

    • Thank you!

  • Interesting design, I'm really curious to hear what these sound like. Unfortunately they're out of my budget right now. I've sent Zeos (Z Reviews) a message on reddit to review them if possible. He has a YouTube Channel and is well regarded in the audiophile community. I recommend you guys send him one to check it out. Will definitely make this Aussie brand more internationally popular if he enjoys the listening experience.

    EDIT:

    Here is his YouTube Channel:

    • Yeah I follow him too. I wanted to approach him early next year when we begin our 2018 campaign.

      • That's great mate, good luck with that. There's a few YouTubers that can gain popularity for your brand if it does what it claims.

The reason I suggested Zeos is that he appreciates the majority of headphones and says why they sound different (not whether they are good or bad). He doesn't usually dislike a headphone. He'll always compliment what's good, highlight what a set might lack and say whether or not the price is worth paying.

    Looks like a gimik

I was a Kickstarter backer. The sound really is great. Incredible bass, but trebles could be slightly improved. Definitely the best sounding headphones I’ve heard. Better than my QC35’s but didn’t blow them out of the water. I didn’t end up keeping them because one of my ears didn’t quite fit the design and they were slightly uncomfortable. They were surprisingly comfortable in general, but I think I just have an odd shaped ear so it didn’t quite work for me. But definitely great headphones if they fit you well!

While I don't mind the qc35s, there's a lot more out there that sounds better. Probably not as convenient however. I've been mildly interested to see a comprehensive review but I have a feeling it won't justify the price.

Btw what other headphones have you tried?

      • I’m normally a Bose guy so I’ve only really had QC25’s and QC35’s. I’m looking to upgrade but I’m not sure what to get. Nura was my initial plan but that didn’t work out. Any suggestions? I hear the Sony X1000m2 is quite good. Keen to try B&W PX as well

        • If you're looking for ANC then you can't do much better than QC35s or the Sony x1000m2s. For convenience and ANC, I'm feeling like I should bite the bullet one of these days.

For sound quality, closed portable headphones like the B&W P7, Oppo pm-3, PSB m4u2, NAD hp50, B&O H6 are highly recommended. All corded though so that might be annoying for you. I feel that these are more audiophile headphones and not very mainstream type headphones so it might or might not be for you.

You can also get open headphones like the Fidelio x2s but I haven't got down that route yet.

I'm a Kickstarter backer and still waiting for mine!

    • Not long now :)

      • Yeah I've been hearing that for a while now

  • Kickstarter backer, wearing mine as we speak

They sound great, and although the treble isn't perfect, as someone mentioned, the bass is incredible.

The in-ear portion took me a day or two to get used to but now they're comfortable to wear all day.

Not too sure if it's worth the price tag, but they sound fantastic once you get them.

    • Haha really? I'm happy you're wearing them! And I'm also glad you say your ears are used to it. We do get feedback about comfort and the silicon does soften so it just needs a few days like you said.

      • Yeah I used for a few weeks. It did soften but still one of my ears didn’t quite fit it well. Maybe consider adjustable ear tips for the future?

  • Do these turn off when not in use or if you take them out to conserve battery?

And as above, the iem really does look uncomfortable to wear.

    • Yeah they do, as soon as you take them off your head. We have cables too which saves even more battery.

It may look uncomfortable, but it doesn't penetrate your ear like you may think. It softly rests against your ear canal to create a seal.

      • I would say the first day will likely feel uncomfortable, but it's been fine ever since.

They seem to detect use via the IEM's being pushed in, and reliably turn off when not in use. Also, the battery lasts a ridiculously long time; I never think about charging it, and the single time it's said 'low battery', I could listen while I charged with the USB-C cable, so that's pretty awesome.
