This does look uncomfortable. For this price you're probably better off buying a Philips Fidelio X2 headphone or some thing.
These are very comfortable, despite their looks - the most comfortable over-ear headphones I've tried.
Sound quality is very good too - Marcus from headphones.com.au recommends these as one of the best portable headphones, without getting in to super high-end, analytical cans.
I'm VERY tempted to buy a 2nd pair.
These sound fairly similar to the Beyerdynamic DT250's - slightly less sound stage but the sound signature is quite similar (ie warm & detailed, slight treble roll-off - can wear & listen all day without fatigue).
Highly recommended!!
Theses look very uncomfortable. What's up with the flat pads???
