Could you tell me which one you found more comfortable?
The QC35 is comfortable but this is very subjective. I'd advise that you go to a store with both demo models to test them out.
I have a relatively large head and my PXC550 which in some reviews claim to be tighter was a non-issue for me as I sometimes fall asleep in them too with no ear fatigue. (i tried both before buying the PXC550 then)
IMO they would both suit me well in terms of comfort but other aspects put the PXC550 ahead for me.
Had the privilege of owning these set of cans before they got pinched from me in one of my trips.
IMHO - at this price the PXC550 should be seriously considered against the QC35s and the Sony v1 & v2 in all aspects.
My basis for this is that all 3 models are in the top quartile of the category namely travel/portable headphones in which:
ANC, comfort, sound quality and Battery life/ Bluetooth connectivity are the priority. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/329263The major tipping point for me is that the PXC550 comes with a 2 yr warranty as opposed to 12 mths for the Bose and Sony.
My only hesitation would be that the recent price drop may be a sign of an updated model, but it seems unlikely given the PXC550 was released later than the other 2 not to mention the lack of major flaws to date with the PXC550 which were the primary cause for the v2s for the competing brands.
Was considering this one but your comment really made sense, might wait a while.
Perhaps purchase these with a credit card that comes with price protection?
Would you mind to explain abit more about "the lack of major flaws to date"? What are those flaws that you mentioned? Thank you.

- https://medium.com/@Xander51/buyer-beware-it-looks-like-the-…Au contraire - we would certainly be informed of any faults on the PXC550 that are of this magnitude given the large Sennheiser following.
The fact remains there isn't anything to hate much less a major flaw about these set and when you fork out a couple of hundred $$ for a set of cans in the travelling/daily use category- so far the PXC50 has come out flawless.
And did i mention the warranty is twice as long as the Bose or Sony?
@tomadeira: Thanks. Really helpful information their. Not sure if you can comment on the sound quality? I read and watched a few review. Just want to hear from another actual user. Thanks again.
It is showing up as $377 for me, am I missing something?

@shapers: Thanks, just ordered one.
Code still working and just price matched at JB, cheers OP
Upgraded to this from QC 35 (handed down to my Dad), better sound quality imho and I couldn't tell the difference with the NC feature compared to the QC 35.
