    Excellent!

  • +1

I've heard that the game was a hit or miss, but still a 'good enough' drive simulator.

    • -1

Also you need PSN right? because the only offline is AI bots

      • +3

        https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/11/22/gran-turismo-spor…

GT is different from typical games, it may not even be in the same form 2-3 years from now due to constant updates.

        • +1

Dam, Didnt know about that thanks will take a look!

        • Surprised they released the game without gt league!!

      • -1

no sh*t, what else do expect for offline except "AI bots"?

  • +3

bargain bin already… so sad i spent full price on it

    • +1

      Me too :(

    • boo hoo

  • +6

Same price at JB Hi-Fi tomorrow as well for those who prefer JB.

    • +5

Wish it wasn't :(. I have $200 JB HIFI gift cards and paid $129 for game and a controller a few weeks ago. Kicks self.

  • +1

Bummer about the lack of VR content or I'd jump at this.

Insane this has dropped in price so fast. They've just announced a huge update including new cars and an offline GT league.

    Info

    • +1

It's overstock in Australia only by the looks of it?

Other countries aren't following the lead; I'm thinking Canada EB Games - full price still during their black friday specials.

      https://www.ebgames.ca/PS4/Games/723990/gran-turismo-sport

I think it's great - get more people into the game.

      • +1

Well PSN is discounted across Europe 50% off so I'd say it's publisher sale.

Like dude above said they're adding a massive new campaign mode in December so well worth buying it now!

      • +1

I think you're right checked game UK and it's still 49.99 over there

  • +1

    Ordered thanks OP

  • +4

Oh and free shipping > $25 with 2month Shipster trial with full national coverage now.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/341889

    • +1

Thanks for this. You can even pick the same day/scheduled delivery as well, doesn't appear limited to standard shipping. My order should be delivered tomorrow afternoon :D

  • +2

Well worth that price. I decided to buy digital for the convenience but this is a no brainer with all the upcoming campaign and car additions.

  • +1

can this game be played offline??
Does it have split screen option??

    • +1

      Yes and yes.

    • +1

Yes and yes though the offline support isnt as robust as many would like. Only some of the modes are offline

  • +1

I still have barely scratched through Forza 7 and have a bit of a backlog of games to play (Destiny 2, PUBG, Mario Odyssey)… debating if I should just buy GT now for $30, or wait until later to see if it drops further when I may have time to play. Thoughts?

    • +1

Dropping further than $29? Surely not that much further if at all for a while, otherwise something went really wrong with the game release.

    • +3

My thoughts. Security at every level of an airport is absolutely ridiculous. Until you get to the baggage claim. Then it’s just like take whatever bag you want.

    • +1

Pretty good. Target look to have the controller for $78 so another tidy saving on the game

    • +1

That's great, but how are you able to see the BF deals?

    • +1

Based on the lightbar this would be a V2 controller, right?

  • +1

    Thanks OP.
    Just bought a copy.

  • +1

Heavy Breathing.. The sales. The sales…

    • +1

i get ya.. you dont know if it'll get to $19 by the sales

going by the updates you can wait

  • +1

Can anyone recommend this game from a pure SIM perspective?

    Is it G29 wheel compatible?

  • +1

    $29 for a glorified demo?
    No thanks!

    • +1

      But it looks so pretty.

Defo a good buy if you have a 4k HDR tv.

    • -1

      cool story

      • -1

I accidentally clicked on + instead of -, so now it can't be undone!

        • -2

          yeah, noone cares

        • @littletinyasianman: no-one cares

  • +1

    S P O R T.

  • +1

    Rubbish game.

  • +2

Went to Hornsby EB to match price. Their staff said no as price is too low to match. She then asked her supervisor to serve me. Her supervisor said there must be a HN in the shopping mall as it’s EB policy. Is there a policy for that? I stopped wasting my time and went to JB, and their staff happily matched the price. EB tight arse. I regret spending money at there to get LV4 membership.

    • +2

Why didn’t you just pay $99 at EB games?

In fact you could have traded in your whole library and got it for $28…

    • +1

I just price matched with EB two hours ago. The sales person checked if it was in stock and gladly price matched.

    • +1

Battlefield 1 at $30 is pretty good.
Sounds like a better investment from the comments

    • +1

I went to EB Games at Chadstone yesterday and 2 older staff told me that they couldn't price match HN due their stock sold as clearance? :(

      • +1

No problem if one rule applies all, but not okay if their staff make rules on the spot.

        • +1

Funny thing is that EB Games Chadstone said that I could price match it the following day (Friday) as JB Hifi had the same price too… So.. when I went there after work, a different staff told me I still couldn't with 'JB Hifi' price as they were told not to price match any Black Friday deals. Even suggested me to go to JB Hifi to buy a copy there.. Which I did.. =/

Also (on the Friday) I asked them again to get a excuse why they couldn't price match with HN but told me that it had to be in the shopping centre. HN is pretty much down the road from Chadstone >_>

          Oh well..

        • +1

@DarkNexy: that concludes they are tight arses trying to find any excuses to avoid matching. Little did they see is that they are losing customers. With Amazon’s launch and digital copies, they will either be more customer friendly or going down. Membership status has little use now. Everything being equal, I liked to go with EB for the extra points but I don’t that anymore.

  • -1

Yea , and Elder Scrolls -Skyrim is also $30 , but another mostly online game

If anyone's going to try their luck instore for stock instead of just pricematching at JB ,
Check out the JBL Everest 700 Bluetooth Headphones , that are still $138 down from $300.
They really are great for music and movies, even if they won't work with the PS4

    • Skyrim isn't online, but nice try

      • Elder scrolls 5 special edition $30 on clearance- check it out dude

  • +1

    Nice

  • +1

Showing up $79 when added to cart now.

  • Thanks OP. Just got one for $29 delivered after i use safari browser
Just use another browser if the price didn't show $29.
    Good luck,cheers

  • Back down to $29 again.

  • If you're playing only single player? don't bother getting the game.
