Similar to the last CS Air Japan Deal (but cheaper), China Southern has some great deals to Tokyo & Osaka. All have a short layover in Guangzhou however the real deal is the long layover(s) that get you 1 night free hotel in Guangzhou, China.

Flights include bags, meals and seats.
Free hotels for layovers longer than 8 hours.
No visa required for transits in China for up to 72 hours.
Cherry Blossom season starts March 21 in Tokyo, March 30 in Osaka.
You can fly into Osaka and fly out of Tokyo for the same price. Google Flights Example - Skyscanner Example

Find the cheap fares in Google Flights, then use Skyscanner, IWTF, Momondo or whatever to find the cheap fares. All the examples below are during Cherry Blossom season.

Is there any information on the Guangzhou hotel that they put you in? Otherwise it's pot luck. Yes it's free, but I like to know where I'm staying.

  From my previous experience you go to a desk where you choose from around ?20 options. There are lots of people standing around who work for each of the motels and try to convince you to go to theirs. Some are better than others I think. There are some newer looking places close to the airport.

  I travelled on one of these deals alone and was told that I needed to share my room with another passenger. I said no thanks and paid for my own room.

came here to suss out sydney-haneda flights for $590.
left with sydney-haneda flights $770… ANA, overnight direct, 46kg baggage allowance
cheaper than Qantas current offering of $850ish, overnight direct, 23kg baggage allowance, plus $35 seat allocation

  It’s not the best but it’s not the worst. Don’t think they fly A380’s in March tho, so it’ll prob be an older A330, but I think it’s still better than some other Chinese airlines.
