Yes, replacement batteries are cheap. Still, over 10 times price of torch.
But if you only replace 1 set a year (my similar torch batteries lasted a year of occasional use), those replacement batteries may be flat a year later. Another cheap deal on these may be posted by then😀
May be cheaper over time to just buy a small reliable $5+ USB rechargeable torch & not have to replace batteries.

Agreed, but I have several items that use AG13/LR44 hence why I got the 50 pack.

Not having any need other than for this type of torch, I didn't bother replacing batteries.
Was going to post but USB recharge torches are ~$2 on aliex.
So this is crap due to batteries.
Going to check neg rules and neg if ok.
Battery replacement makes this not a great deal, but as OP wrote aren't expensive. I've got a few like torch this gathering dust after batteries died.
Now use a reliable tough $5+ USB rechargeable torch. So no buying batteries for me. Similar to your suggestion.

Worth it even for limited battery life (backup disposable torch in car, bag, etc) & have Carabiner to use later. Carabiner can cost more delivered.

The replacement batteries will cost more than the torch when they go flat after a few minutes of use.
