    Silly question, is this game designed for xbox 360 or xbox one? Can't see on the MS store.
    Thanks

      Xbox One sorry :)

    I know it's the newest version, but it's a bit of a bummer to see Switch's one selling at full price when Xbone and PS4's are on sale both right now, and all the time.

    Again, I get it, but it still bums me out.

    • Savage!

  • With Gold Membership - does this mean I can play online? I've always had Playstations but got an Xbox recently, online play is a bit weird for me, don't quite understand how it works yet.

      Yes, Gold Membership is required for any multiplayer games. However, you do get 4 free games to keep every month and extra discounts on deals.

      • Thanks for replying! Now that I read this in the morning I think it means that the game is the price if you HAVE a gold membership already, rather than the game comes with a gold membership at this price, no?

        • +1

          Correct. Microsoft doesn't bundle Gold membership with any games.

          Thanks for the answer mate! I just can't wrap my head around that. Online play shouldn't require a membership. Suppose I'll just build a PC and play on there.

          @jrowls:

          Understand, it's mostly historical, as Microsoft pioneered a lot of the modern multiplayer experience with their Xbox Live service using games like Halo 2. It was awesome, and Microsoft raked in the money with their Xbox Live subscriptions.

          Microsoft still continue to charge for it today, but have increased value by including free games and deeper discounting.

          But it's getting crazier, Rocket League allows Xbox and PC players to play together… and the Xbox guys have to use an Xbox Live subscription, whereas the PC crowd is gaming for free… in the exact same matches.

          Then again, Xbox gamers can buy a 6 teraflop gaming box for around $600, that they won't need to upgrade… and equivalent machine in PC land is far more expensive.

    Best game ever.

  • Does this have cross platform play yet? Got some friends on ps that I’d love to play.
