Thanks. My sons been asking for it. I did buy but two discs later it still was saying corrupted and wouldn't complete the install. Got money back.
But he's thinking to get the digital version now.
Not a bargain, you have to fork out a lot more money to get the complete experience or invest all of your free time for the next 2 years to get that experience.

Deluxe access went live 3 days ago, EA Access trial went live last Friday. Plenty of people have played it.

Should blame the casual / non-gaming community for all this. You know the ones that go out and blow 1.8K on an iPhone and are more then happy to shell out $ on in app purchases. The corporate overlords at EA see this and think that every gamer wants this (or will accept it) & it's the way forward for gaming. Sight. Anyway me not buy - stuff you EA and your greed.
100%. They've been conditioned that games are free and then don't realize they're spending far more being sold dozens on bundles of "smurfberries" than if they'd just paid for a real game in the first place.
This game should be free considering EA and their bullshit pay to win model. Not going into depth here as I am sure everyone else already knows the cancer that EA is causing.

I just picked up a copy to put away for kids for Xmas.
I understand peoples concern about the microtransactions and agree it is crap.
Picking it up mostly so the kids can co-op the missions and less about the multiplayer.
My kids get bombarded with microtransaction requests with every game on the ipad and it is such a crappy model. Makes the parents the bad guys when we say no, but no is what they get. And it will be no for these ones too… So hopefully my kids enjoy the grind ;)
Seriously people, enough with the comments - not everyone cares about multi-player. Myself included. I only buy games for the single player campaigns.

All of the people working at EA are a bunch of idiots and should try unlock some things for themselves in this game. Wait until the price drops under $20 and then it will probably be worth it.
The first Star Wars battlefront was such a flunk and this one Is useless to play unless you are willing to spend hundreds of hours on this one game, or bring out your wallet and unlock everything.
As others said and what I have said just wait until the price drops.

Well I finally got my pickup confirmation at 5:15pm on Sunday night.
That's a waste of a weekend. I'll have to figure out how to get to HN to pick this up someone during the week so I have time to download it before next weekend now!
I went to HN store instead and was able to pickup. The LiveChat couldn't even check my status of my C&C…
Clicked through the order flow everything said $49, get the paypal email and the dodgy thing charged me full price.
It’s after midnight AEST therefore I think the promotion is over.
I went through the order process at 11:55 and it finished at 11:58. Must have been a delay between their site and paypal

Oh that is unlucky. I would just call them up or email support. I think they should be pretty reasonable about it given the circumstances.
