Yes. Pretty easy to turn off auto-renew though.
Not so easy. Can't turn off auto-renew on the Xbox which is unbelievable. Had to log on using a PC.
Looks like it's only applicable if you don't already have an Xbox Live Gold membership. I was logged in with my Xbox Microsoft account and it was showing as RRP.

Another related question… I'm interested in buying the 'Minecraft Story Mode Bundle' and see that is $10 cheaper if bought through the US Microsoft site.
I tried but saw warnings about needing a US address to link to a Paypal account to pay.
So I found an address and it linked fine, but then reading through the site, it gave warnings about 'code gifts' needing to be in same region as purchase, with no refunds or returns allowed.
I tried looking to see info about purchases for my own account (non gift) but saw nothing in writing about those purchases being region locked?
I had bought 4 US Amazon digital code games without problems (worked on my Aussie Xbox) but not from Microsoft Store US… anyone have experience they can share?!
