Can also use the PLAYOFF24 coupon for an additional 10% off, making it very tempting!

That code doesn't work when I tried? Edit: I think you missed adding to your post that it's a code for the Ebay Rebel store :P

My bad, yes that's for eBay sorry.

        • Also it apparently expired at 7 PM AEST.

  • Thanks for the pick up guys..28% off RRP.

I bought this in the last Rebel 20% sale (plus 6% cashrewards). This is an excellent price.

Previously, I had the Fitbit Charge 2.

Great for tracking sports activities . Swimming tracking is okay (not fully accurate). Running is spot on. Haven’t tried it with cycling / Ant2 sensors. Watch face always on. Looks well on your wrist.

However, it’s not as good as the Fitbit for sleep tracking/step counting. Does not count steps when I walk a pram. The sleep measurements / reports aren’t detailed as the Fitbit Charge 2. Controls are clunky. A month later and I’m still not sure how to operate it. Hard to change settings-when I changed from miles to km, the auto lap stayed at 1.6km and it took days to figure out how to change it. The stress measurement is a gimmick-takes 30secs then tells me to check fitting.

And to top it off, on Tuesday, the display froze when I got out of the shower after swimming. I contacted Garmin support, who advised to send it back to them. However, when the power died today, it restarted fine without issue. Not sure if it was water from swimming or software bug.

Overall, I find it a frustrating watch and would give it 2/5. I am regretting not buying the Ionic/Apple Watch 3.

    • Ordered mine…hopefully I will have a better experience than that..hope Garmin will iron out software issues soon. Watch looks great when I tried it on.

I would agree with your comments. (if the wife was asking, it's an amazing watch lol).

Add and Garmin site oversells it a little bit too much and real world feels like its just lacking a little bit.

The wife has a samsung smart watch and it is just that little bit more refined in my opinion.

    • I hope it gets better for you.

      I just ordered one.

I looked hard at the Apple but the idea of having to charge it every day turned me right off.

I've been using the first Vivoactive and been very happy with it.

Thought it would be nice to have the option of not having to wear the chest belt.

  • Dammit, bought it with the 20% off from Rebel. I'm gonna buy it again and refund the other one… true OzBargain style :P

    • The only active deal at the moment is the 20 % off deal?

      • +1

Yes, but the RRP is 499, so I picked it up yesterday 20% off which made it $399.20
Rebel have marked it down even further now! So I just bought it again and saved another 40 bucks! :)

        • Oh right :) Was just checking that you didn't mistakenly think you could still use the code mentioned above :D

  • sorry, is this better than Moto 2 (360)
I am trying to justify the price here to myself.

  • Can anyone recommend any decent and not overpriced metal wristbands that can go with this watch? Would like to keep the plastic strap for when exercising only.

  • This is still available at $359.20 this morning…
