Perhaps you would like to ask nicely?
Why did when i opened this web site in the thread link that a popup from Kaspersky Internet Security came up saying there was a connection attempt to some dodgy Russian web server and blocked it. Dodgy!. Kaspersky didn't like it at all.
I do hope this Chinese online store isn't running some sort of spyware on it for some dodgy Russian criminal group.
You are up on the news about Kaperspy themselves right?
Yeah sure i am!.
Kaspersky is rubbish, I wouldn't trust it with my toothbrush.
Picks up a lot of privacy related stuff that others ignore.
That's probably JV
it clearly says affiliated with JD.com which is China's Amazon and listed on Nasdaq.
The first language in their list is Russian, so I assume Russian is their biggest buyer and it direct you to their Russian server.
No connections with JD or this site, just sayingYeah well. Oddly enough my internet security blocked the connection to the "Russian server" as being potentially dodgy as in some thing suss going on. You know a connection to some other server in Russia on the side could be stealing customer details, credit card information. etc. It's not unknown for there to be Russian criminal organisations. The server could be hacked you know.
Looks so weird though. So many nicer looking mice at this price range
Funny how if this was branded by Apple people would be saying how unique and innovative it looks.
Doubt anyone here would be saying that.
Have you seen how many OzBargainers think $200 earphones is a bargain? lol
oh i don't even like apple products
honestly brand doesn't mean anything these days
Do you have any recommendation? I'm looking to buy a wireless mouse
I wait till the logitech ones come on sale. They have some nice ones with patterns and what not. Generally around $29 but can get them for about $12. Plus it comes with warranty
Any good?
Yeah it's decent. I bring one just as a backup when I'm on the go and use a normal mouse at home etc.
It's handy as it's got a wifi dongle or it can connect via BT, so you're covered either way - which isn't that common in mice.
Thanks for your reply. I want a cheap bluetooth mouse (no dongle), but I don't want rubbish. I'm ok with the mini and flat profile as I only plan on using it as an occasional travel mouse. This looks like the best option. The starting price for bluetooth mice from brand names is $30+.
Is BT working fine? Just as good as using the dongle?
I don't see anything about wifi?
Yeah both BT and Wireless work equally good - never had any issues.
And yeah @D3m3ntia there's a wireless dongle inside the mouse that you can plug in to enable wireless and you flick a switch on the underside of the mouse to go from using BT to Wireless or vice versa.
@Deviner: that's not wifi even though it works over 2.4ghz. cordless phones also work on that frequency which is why 2.4g is saturated
@D3m3ntia: I said wifi in my original response and "wireless" in the one you're replying to after I'd realised I had used the adverts terminology, rather than the appropriate wording.
Not sure what you're digging for here though? Can't imagine it's going to change anyones opinions on the mouse…
Anyone know of a decent Bluetooth travel keyboard to go with this?
Your laptop doesn't have keyboard?
Want to use this with a tablet…
Carries desktop on planes… Probably looking for a good travel monitor too
Plus ultralong extension cord.
Hey, who unplugged the engines?
Although not as compact as some of the foldable or mini versions getting around, I highly recommend the Logitech K380 bluetooth keyboard - a great little device that doesn't sacrifice ease of use & features & is compatible nearly any device & operating system, while being compact & easy to carry.
They're currently about $70 at JB Hi-Fi, but I picked mine up on sale for just under $40 towards the beginning of last year. I've successfully used it with both Android & Apple devices, & Windows computers too, & it's never skipped a beat, plus it can be paired to 3 different device & switches easily between these by just pushing a button, so that's a handy feature.
My friend heard me raving about how good it was, borrowed it & loved it, then bought the more expensive K480, only to be disappointed it wasn't as good, & I think she's right. It's a purchase I've never regretted, & I'd definitely get one again if the need arose, without hesitation.
Thanks ;)
You're welcome. :)
Thanks OP, this will be great to use to point to the reasons why she left
"you didn't Xiaomi any love"
I "+" you. :)
Super good from my 1 year user experience
If I have to complain then it is the battery lifeHow long does it last on an average use?
hurts to use for extended periods as it is flat. great connectivity, though.
Has anyone received notification of shipment yet? I haven't heard anything since my purchase. It's been 13 days.
Edit: NVM, it says in my account "awaiting acceptance", but has a tracking number. China Post says it's "on route".
My order arrived Melbourne 2 days ago and delivered by Auspost without signature.
Ours arrived around mid-last week - so far, so good. :)
Yeah, got mine too. Works well.
