one they’ll be playing with for years to come

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

This will be cheap rubbish that will operate poorly and end up as landfill.

Be warned that Mytopia is another trading name for AGR Machinery and Edisons. Any good reviews are generally false.

Their website is full of phony reviews or ones left when the product arrived. This is one review that sums it up - http://www.productreview.com.au/p/baumr-ag-bcx720.html

    Review from Whirlpool

"I'm sorry to say you have bought a pile of junk. Bought one of these off that mob and it was the biggest pile of rubbish, the plastics broke the motor and shafts would not lock into place and the pull stater broke on its second start and they refused to sent me a replacement even after I sent a picture of the broken unit, edisons are well known to sell junk and there support is not much better, good luck."

"It's worse. Alias 'agrmachinery' and 'mytopiastore'. They are scum and protected by the fleaBay rating system.
The Search tab on the left will find real experiences… keeping it local.. then there's google."

Edison's even posted a fake review in the thread…

And of course the master AGR machinery thread with hundreds of negative experiences that are all genuine.

and then read whirlpool and ozbargain, eg: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/286720

All true. That has been the case for at least 9 years with AGR. I'm glad I avoided them when buying my brushcutter.

  • Bugga, not buying one for my son then. On a side note I bought a motorbike ramp from Edisons and it came damaged. They exchanged it quick and easy. They paid the shipping to from Melb back to Syd and then back to me in Melb. So couldn't fault them on their service.

I bought the Ford Ranger through them for my daughter 6 months ago , daughter loves it , no problem here on service and quality.

Only concern for me would be 25 watt motor on it as my daughter's has 2×35 watt motors and can go up small hills and over grass etc

    • Hey, thanks for some constructive feedback! 👍🏻

Good to hear from those that have experienced the product

  • Note that these are only INSPIRED products and not licensed. Buy Rastar from Costco or David Jones instead as they are high quality and officially licensed cars.

  • I bought a ride on for my son when he was little. The novelty wore off quick as the motor was small so didn't go fast, or go for long and he went back to riding his bike with training wheels (aluminium framed). Basically had windscreen wiper motor in it.
We put it our for hard waste in the end.
