  • How do you get the code from gearbest?

    Which one is better?

      I love the ep51's.

      Amazing for the price

      • I too love my ep51 they are exceptional. I get over 6 hours usually from mine per charge. They sound so good for the price. I have mine in under my helmet on my motorbike, works great for cutting out a lot of the outside noise and also for listening to podcasts etc.

        • +1

You don't see any issue with cutting out outside noise while riding a motorbike?

        • I've been thinking of getting wireless earphones to wear under my helmet, but I can't seem to keep the earphones in my ear when I put my helmet on. Any tips?

        • +1

@Mellows: trust me you can still hear what's happening around you… it's like the noise cancelling in planes, you can hear voices, it's just the humming of the plane that gets muted.

        • +2

@Mellows: Most big capacity bikes are LOUD! Fun fact = most people wear earplugs when riding!

    • I think the xiaomi has longer play time. Not sure.

      • xiaomi no that comfort
        Meizu last too short

    • My xiaomi ones died within two weeks

  • Is it me.. or does it slip out of people's ears a lot? Just finding it very irritating that the rubber tips don't go in very deep and gets knocked out quite easily. My BBGo2's held on much more firmly and slightly longer cable helps too.

    • How is the SQ compared to BBpro2?

      • BBPro (Cans) or BBGo (Buds)?

Sorry.. might sound a little uptight but don't rate the EP51. Maybe if it sat in my ears better to block off the other noise it might give better quality. The BBGo2 is much better quality overall (but obviously twice as expensive). The BBPro (Cans) again is better again (with NC) except they weigh a bit..

Sigh… building a collection of Headphones/Buds here.. trying to find the right ones.. :(

I've got the Xiaomi ones on order from GB for the cheap 11/11 price. Lets see how they compare.

I’ve got B&O H6, HD 598, M2, Urbanites XL, Bose QC25, Sony 1000X, Zik 3, Bluedio Victory, Jaybird X3, have to stop buying these, but I do want the BB Pro 2….

        • @congngo: Yeah.. I'm getting like that too.. Wireless buds - I've got Plantronics BBGo2, BBGo3 (shit), Jabra Rox, Bluedio N2 Sports, QCY Q29, Meizu EP51, Xiaomi Wireless (on the way) - among others (Bose QC20 & QC35, Sony MDRNC750, Audio Technica ANC33, Plantronics BBPro etc).
In my defense, I'm probably using these maybe 8-9 hours a day on commute and at work so got an excuse to buy something decent (this accumulated over last 5 years).

        • @bchliu: I fly a lot and find the QC25 the best. B&O H6 gen 2 are great and really comfy. I find the other to be hot after long usage. SQ wise 1000X wins but B&O is close 2nd.
          Which one is your fav?

        • @congngo: I do really enjoy QC35 as all rounder when I am on plane or trips.. QC20's I use the most at work since I'm on the phone a lot (I dont use a desk phone) and also listen to music whilst I write. The Wireless buds are more for the commute part getting to work and back is 3 hour round trip for me. Tempted to get the Samsung IconX first gen if it drops to reasonable levels like they did in the US when the 2nd gen came out.
I do also really enjoy the Sony MDR NC750. The SQ is so good (even better than both my Bose) and the NC is on par with the QC20's, but only works on my backup Xperia Z5C.. so cant really use it as often as I'd like.

Too bad Google's new buds with the Babelfish function only works on their Pixel 2 phones.. else that would have been top of my list to get as wireless buds.

    • i have the same issue. quite irritating

    • Yes, I have Xiaomi wireless, it keep slipping off during exercise in the gym. Nothing beats Plantronics Backbeat Fit for exercise.

      • +1

        Yes! Plantronic fit user here.
I like how it is not pushed deep into but just sit on our ear canal. Do you know Any others like this? I want longer play time.

        • I'm looking for the right replacement too (BT Buds). :(

Been through a bunch of different models - still none as good as the BBGo2 except the battery life on it is horrid.. hmmmm.

      • Nothing beats Plantronics Backbeat Fit

I'm sure custom tips are better than those.

        • No it's not about the tip but the design. This is not ear plug type where you have to push hard into your ear holes

        • @dragonindespair: To make it worse, most of the "wings" supplied make it worse to stay within the ear.

    • I've got 2 pairs of these, 1 at work and 1 for commuting. The pair that I wear commuting fits a lot better - my theory is that the rubber tips take a while to soften and the commuting pair gets worn far more often so they've softened faster so I get a better fit out of them.

Still, they're far from perfect fit-wise. All my bullets provide a better fit, better isolation and therefore better sound quality than these headphones.

I remember Meizu was supposed to be the Apple of China 10 years ago. They lost the race to Xiaomi big time.

  • I have this meizu… Compared to power beats 3 which I also have.. The sq is only slightly.. Very slightly better on the pb3. What keys it down the most is the BT signal is not as good so you get more connection issues. But overall excellent for price.

  • For the price i love mine. I find the volume controller moves around my neck when exercising and im forever adjusting it. Other than that all good, sound is decent, not a ton of bass.

  • +1

It says the code XME115 has expired? And doubles the price?
