Received this Christmas special in the mail today. Bought one of these a couple years ago and I would say it is one of the best retractable hose reels on the market. All connectors are made of brass and the locking system is smooth and strong.

yeah when i compared the hoses i found this to be only one that had the brass fitting and it's actually cheaper than Hoselink.
I bought one of these delrico units. The hose section is great. The brass attachment fittings weren't. From new, the nozzle routinely pops off the end of the hose. I swapped it out for a cheap piece of plastic crap that doesn't let go every time it sniffs pressure. Think I just got a 'Friday arvo' one.
Hoselink are terrible. I'm a gardener and have to use numerous hoses on a daily basis. Hoselink have to be the worst. They leak, don't retract properly, fittings break easily, they are not compatible with anything except Hoselink.
I actually bring my own hose to this one job because the client has a Hozelink hose and it's such a pain yin the arse to use.
Don't buy hoselink kids. Take drugs instead.
Any chance this Delrico is related to DeRucci?

I’ve had Hoselink and think they do a good job but the reviews on their website are a little over inflated.
From a leaking point I’ve found they don’t leak unless the little seal falls out which can happen.
The only fitting I had break was the flow controller which when they replaced it broke again and again.
I think they are over priced a bit as well.
I’m actually looking for a new hose now but have never heard of Delrico.
I’ll take a look at Bunnings and probably go with the best warranty.
I also have a Hoselink retractable hose. No problems 2 years on. No leaks.
@harryzee: likewise. Had one for two years. No dramas at all. In fact was thinking of getting another couple.
I have 3x 20m Hoselink reels plus dozens of attachments and accessories and never had a single issue, and they've never leaked a drop.
No more hoselink for me, So many leaks
