yes along with alot of imported drinks, brand name clothes and shoes.

In my personal experience,(genuine) Coke bought in China tastes pretty much the same as Aussie, far closer in taste than the US can which has this weird sugary feel. Maybe the cans lazed bought were "factory seconds" or some other dodgetastic end-product.
coke in different countries tastes different because its bottled with local water.
thats why coke in australia tastes awesome, but in the US it tastes like crap and pepsi over there tastes better. but here coke is better and pepsi tastes too sugary.

When I was there, Coke in China tasted like Coke, period! Perhaps what they're exporting is tainted with something, making it taste different! AFAIK, Coca-Cola use purified water in the process, which is supposed to be odourless/tasteless! :o
FWIW, the Coke here tastes better to us because we use cane sugar, whereas the US uses corn syrup! ;)
