I'm looking for recommendations of free financial software or a spreadsheet to keep a track of the finances of a small employee social club (60 members) i have recently joined the committee on. All previous financial dealings have been done on a mostly adhoc paper basis, and i would to gain some resemblance of order. I do not require anything like payroll abilities or the ability to take online payments.

Free accounting software. Basic, but should be sufficient for what you're doing.
Updates every other week (noted on majorgeeks), support is non-existent.
Installed on 2 x Win10 PCs here, couldn't open it.
