Yep - the 360 is an official Media Center Extender:

…which means that it can fully control the tuners attached to a pc, including the EPG etc.
There is no PVR attachment like the PS3 PlayTV though.
The 360 will play almost anything via the network or USB.
Plus a recent bonus - as of yesterday Foxtel became available on the 360 : )

I just got Dick Smith to beat this price too – 250Gb console, Kinct, adventure & Dance Central for $459.61. I know it doesnt seem like much of a difference, but the important thing is Dick Smith will layby it for you.
Before trying this you MUST contact a few Harvey Normans to confirm they still have this is stock, or DSE will not price match as it is below cost. Some Harvey Norman employees may be confused about the end date of the deal as there was a printed catalogue with this deal that ended on the 21st nov - just get them to check the online catalogue to confirm.
HN Stores i checked that still had stock were Carindale and Mt Gravatt, by the time I got to DSE 20 minutes later Carindale had sold out :o
