        Really? Have you tried writing with them, I find that they aren't suited for writing in English, especially if you write fast.

          Ha, my writing consists a bunch of quick notes, my handwriting has never been neat, more like misaligned wavy lines. Anyway, it's a medium thickness tip, gel ink, I quite like it.

          You could get similar from a $3 disposable pen but these are much nicer to hold, heavy, well machined, etc. The ink flows smoothly, it just feels nicer than most other pens I've used.

          @eDust: If it's the same as the Mijia pen, it's not very smooth to write with due to its razor sharpness.

          I never thought that Chinese pens made a difference when writing in English until using one!

          Chinese pens are ultra sharp and not designed for English writing.
          The sharp point allows limited ink to flow, you cannot write fast.
          When writing fast it will leave some streaks of white missing ink.

          It is designed for short strokes/dashes - Chinese characters.

          Do you have the steel one? Does it have the same ink refil, white plastic colour? Sounds like your exerience is much smoother, I tried replacing the ink with a new one, but still was quite sharp/jagged in my experience.

          Especially when taking quick notes, there are times it blanks/doesn't ink so some words have a character 1/2 written.

        I also only found the refills for the white version. There is question that someone asked if can be used for the metal one. Answer was no.

    Had nothing but issues with Gearbest. Placed a total of 4 orders. When they eventually arrived, 2 of the orders were missing items (they had not been sent as the delivery list also did not have these items listed). On further enquiry I was offered a refund. Then when I accepted I was told that the items were now in stock?? Mind you, this is 6+ weeks after my initial purchase. After multiple emails, I have decided that even if they have the odd bargain, I am going to steer well clear of these guys.

    These pens use the same refills as Parker Pens.
    I just took apart my Parker pen and Xiaomi Metal Pen, compared their refills and swapped them over. The refills have the same length and width and are almost identical in shape and works the same in both pens.
