Good price, more and more powerlifters around.
Powerlifters or crossfitters?
I still like the old Adidas Adipower shoes with the timber wedge but they have stopped manufacturing them.
i don't think this shoe is for crossfit,if you plan on doing your WOD with it. The sole of the shoe is more rigid and doesn't have the flexibility you would need. I think it's gearing towards weightlifting and powerlifting.
haha logical/correct training techniques wouldn't stop a cross fitter brah #doyouevencrossfit
I haven't been following the price on these. What do they usually sell for? Is this a good price? Do they go on sale often?
if u buy them locally in Aus, easily $250+
Anyone can suggest whether it runs large or small? Cheers;)
My foot is 26.5cm and im a size 9US in these.. fits nicely wiht socks.. I have the red/black pair (unsure if same or older model but looks pretty much the same thing)
Thanks mate for the info:)
i have pretty wide feet myself and i fit mine comfortably, it has strap on the top that will 'clamp' ur feet down nice and snug so i wouldnt really worry about that
Thanks buddy:)
Anyone know what sizing is like?

are your other shoes size 9?
generally im a 9.5-10 depending on brand.. I have slightly wide feet so prefer the 10US in other brands.. Adidas definitely a 9US
These adipowers are wide and for me a 9US is perfect fit.. I wouldnt say they would "stretch" but definitely quite some good room for wider feet and the strap definitely helps keep a snug fit no matter how fat your feet are..
solid shoes definitely dont go without them for squats/deadlifts
@robbbyrob: can I ask what your other Adidas and nike shoe size is?
I find that nike is consistent more so than Adidas.
@robbbyrob: finally got them.. Size 9us was perfect. Followed your advice and went half down when reviews were saying half up. Thanks.
I went tru to size and it works for me(10.5US)
perhaps if there was size 10.25US it would be 100% perfect
Did they stretch at all over time? I'm just not sure if i should go half size smaller than I would normally. The last metcon I bought was a half size smaller and found it much better. And everyone is saying these are a narrow shoe.
Wish this colour was out when I got mine years back. I have the orangey red ones with white stripes. Hate the way they look but it's not what I bought them for. Awesome shoes, feels like your feet are stuck in concrete when squatting.
I paid around $280 3 or so years ago.
Red are the better versions. Tighter fit.
Don't know if they still make them though.
I got some grey ones from Eastbay about 4 years ago, was around $160au delivered.
Most guys I know have moved away from this type and gone to flat soled shoes.
Eastbay is a joke now for runners. Prices are ridiculous
Damn no red ones
