About the cheapest I have seen it on here. Can be used to access Netflix too.

Watching Hulu, HBO, Amazon Prime, BBC or other streaming services can unfortunately be difficult while traveling outside the US. Rather than bypass these restrictions with the help of a VPN that may sacrifice browsing speed, choose a faster and simpler solution with Getflix. Instead of rerouting all your internet traffic through a different server, this handy service only routes the traffic needed so you can still enjoy top browsing speeds. Getflix unblocks more than 100 streaming channels around the world so you can watch movies, TV, sports, and more wherever life may take you.

  • Access popular global streaming services from anywhere around the world
  • Access over 50 VPN nodes
  • Enjoy a fast & reliable solution for watching TV, listening to online radio & more
  • Benefit from easy-to-use Smart DNS technology
  • Get a free, optional VPN & SmartVPN account to encrypt all your traffic with 256Bit SSL encryption
  • Use w/ all of your favorite devices
  • Utilize the services without needing to install any software
  • Access Netflix on any device: computers, mobile devices, media players, gaming consoles, smart TVs
  • Please note: Getflix doesn't replace the need for a subscription streaming service

  • Purchased this a while so and really have not put it to good use.

If anybody has been able to successfully get this to work on a Xioami Android box without messing about with the router, please let me know!

    • I don't use getflix, but do you use express vpn. On all devices, including android, I just use the express vpn application. I see that getflix has an android app, does the app not run on that version of android?

      • The app isn't Android TV compatible. You can "sideload" it but even then it doesn't work properly with Netflix on the box. Not to mention that it opens the app in landscape orientation (sideways on the TV).

I have considered a VPN service but it isn't worth it based on my Netflix usage.

  • I have this. Unfortunately really unreliable with bbc. Used to work much better.

  • Is this worth getting for netflix?

    • Would like to know this as well.

Please note: Getflix doesn't replace the need for a subscription streaming service

Does this mean that we need a Netflix subscription to access Netflix??

      • +2

Yes, you need a working netflix sub. See my comment below.

      • +2

Yes. It just means you can subscribe and use the US service instead of paying for the Australian one for example.

        • Thank you PVA and theoneandonlylml :)

i feel like this was not answered fully.

netflix is the paid for service that streams shows without adds.

Getflix is the service that "bypasses" region locks on a Netflix subscription.

Ive found GetFlix to be… Flakey. Alot.
basically found this to be the case so much that on recommendation of getflix, I would say this : buy it without the expectation of it working, and when it does, consider it a bonus.

I agree, it worked with US netflix for a week then i had to get assistance from them to change my setting to get it to work again, which lasted another 5 or so days and then i was prompted again to get assistance if i wanted to get US netflix working. Gave up and went to nordvpn but i also gave up on accessing US netflix

        • how is Nord? how much uptime is there for US bnetflix off of it? i have expressvpn and that doesnt even work lol!

        • +1

@Kossac: Nord speeds are good but no netflix - i gave up on that, i use it for Hulu.

I use this daily for SkyGo UK, and pretty regularly for BBC, ITV, demand4 etc. For me it's pretty flawless - set and forget with Dynamic DNS configured.

(note, I don't use it for any US-based services). bought it a couple of years back also on a lifetime deal. Very happy.

Netflix doesn't work anymore. (last I checked)

    • +2

      Works on only desktops/laptops IIRC

    • +1

Still works flawlessly on my 2 Smart TVs and iPad Pro. I'm able to get 4K content with my 100/40 NBN

    • Still works fine for us on the TV and mobile devices. Only hulu is having issues on the TV most of the time although it works fine on the mobile devices.

    • works fine for Netflix and Hulu for me through XboxOne.

Only recently started having problems with CW on both XboxOne and Windows

    • Works fine for me on everything except the Netflix Windows 10 app (just use the browser anyway). PC/Android/iOS all work. Getting it to work is another story.

For those who are wondering: so far Getflix only works for Netflix US. Before you used to be able to access other countries but they stopped supporting it.

For Netflix US its dodgy though. Sometimes it works, but it can be turned off anytime due to Netflix getting clever and finding the IP address. It sometimes takes them a few weeks or a few days to get services running back again. I bought the lifetime deal I few years ago, and I feel like I've definitely gotten my money back after 3 years. But like I said - there's absolutely no guarantee that it'll keep on working.

The free VPN is pretty sketchy as well. Connections not good enough to stream Netflix so far, and its not that secure with DNS leaks.

In hindsight I probably would get a more reputable VPN instead. I don't subscribe to hulu or amazon prime so I can't say anything about that

I used this for a few years before buying a lifetime membership but it really is of no use anymore with Netflix USA in AU.

Just dont bother and use Kodi now.

  • +2

Forgot I had the lifetime subscription from last year, thanks OP. Just tested and it’s working fine with US netflix. As mentioned previously you can only access the US netflix.

  • Has anyone tested it with android TV recently?

  • -1

Hasn't worked for me on Netflix for a while now

  • -1

    Doesn't work anymore for netflix

  • +1

as others have said above, it's hit and miss in regards to getting it working for USA Netflix. Sometimes it'll work flawlessly and other times you won't be able to access USA Netflix for a few days-weeks.

Just keep that in mind if your planning on buying this for USA Netflix only.

  • Didn't work last I checked

  • When I click the link the deal shows as US$35 with no option to enter discount code anywhere?

    • +1

on the order summary page you will see in the pricing box the option "promo code?" click that and enter the code.

      • Yes now I see it, don’t know how I managed to miss that previously. Thank you

  • When I last used GetFlix about a year ago, the "free, optional VPN" was slow and disconnected constantly. Don't let that feature influence your decision.

  • Per other posts - the service is hit and miss for Netflix US (though working for me lately). But it has always worked reliably for Hulu and Amazon Prime.
