Same problem here.
TransACT no more.. bought by iinet, although my connection was better when I was with TransACT.
it's all TPG now. They own iinet, transact, internode, adam, netspace, westnet and aapt. all those networks were better before TPG came along
No tpg yet, they still have iinet business model.
You missed the option: NBN Co - As I am still waiting for them to pull their finger out and connect me.
Previously Aussie Broadband, who introduced a price jump on me after 6 months… (should have gone on contract after all, would have got a free modem and a price freeze!).
Moved to Telecube on a promo offer at the start of the year, $54/500Gb @50/20 (my shitty FttN is capable of only 34/10) cause their value proposition was too good to ignore ($20/month cheaper than ABB!). No regrets.
Dang that's good deal
current deal sounds shitty
$59.50 / 1000gb @ 25/5
Came with a whole lot of peak hour restrictions, but none actually affect our usage.
This was the offer.

We are with Southern Phone. Have had great service. We are on unlimited with a speed boost for $70 a month (NBN wireless)
Aussie Broadband seem to be killing it in this forum - are they advertising on Ozbargain or are they just the best deal around?
They don't cheap out on CVC and actually give good support. You can even talk to their Managing Director on Whirlpool if you like. They're the ISP everyone has moved to after Skymesh went downhill.
Myrepublic. $60 for 100/40 and unlimited. Never experienced any drama like some have. It's fast, reliable, and cheap - just like me.
Aussie Broadband here. Can't recommend them enough.
Whats your negative points?
What? I haven't got anything negative to say about them.
Given the high number of people going with Aussie Broadband, wouldn't that create a somewhat bottleneck effect given the bandwidth issues. They provide faster speeds, everyone signs up with them, resulting is less bandwidth ultimately creating slower speeds? Do they have some sort of commitment to increase bandwidth once a set number is reached in each area etc?
They actively monitor the bandwidth available at each POI and add more each morning if required. Check the threads on Whirlpool.
Surprisingly, they do - they won't sign any more customers up to a POI if they reach 80% of current capacity.

You don't really get that sort of genuine transparency with most other providers. That's what won me over.
It helps that they're not cheapest or the most generous with download limits. I'm happy to pay a small premium for minimal congestion. The huge downloaders can go elsewhere.
That's really impressive, thanks all. In 2 years when I get hooked up I'll be sure to give them a go :)
so, everyone left buzztelco ? lol
buzz telco never connected my order and then I created a support ticket to have my order cancelled entirely and they deactivated my client portal. was fed up of waiting for a refund so filed a charge back from the bank. still waiting for a refund. stay away from buzz telco.
What is NBN?
Sarcasm. No nbn yet in my area
Move to marginal seat in Tassie like me.
Optus. It's great how they're charging us $100/month for the same speeds as we get for $60 cable at the moment.
No issues here :)
Infinity classic plan, but it seem they don't offer it anymore. Guess i make the jump to gold if there a bargain.
Amaysim on the introductory $40 a month plan. Speed 12/1. No phone which is great as I never use it anyway.
I can stream Full HD video without buffering so 12/1 is good enough.
No Buzz Telco? I guess i am ok with them except just one time their service was down for week or so.
iiNet for me on a maxed out 25/5 + phone connection. Max obtainable speed is about 30/7 due to distance from node being about 1km away. Just don't think its worth paying extra for not much more speed.
Using ISP supplied modem and very happy with the connection. Never had any major down time or speed issues.
I cannot select two.
Myrepublic and Aussie broadband.
