Per pair, thats almost half the half price Woolies do at times, although they sell them as singles not 3 packs.

  • Awesome find - thanks OP!

noob question. What is the different between "Guy Front Mens Trunk" and "Guy Front Mens Underwear"

    • +2

My guess is it's the style. Trunks are the term used for the 'M' shaped undies which cover the thigh a bit whereas the others might be the 'V' shape (kind of like budgie smugglers)

Personally, I think trunks are more comfy and look better?

      • +1

I prefer trunks too. But from the images it is hard to figure out which ones which. So I guess I have to pass this one :(

Mens underwear is always the biggest rip off. The companies realise they cant get us (well most of us :) ) for extras like bra's, stockings etc so they set the pricing high.

I do it the OZB way and skip them altogether, pants will be next to go…

    • Some would say that the extra sweat and "grit" (lol) being rubbed into your pants would mean they are getting worn out sooner because you're not using underwear (and likely need to wash pants more often)…

    • +2

The real OZB way is to go full monty.

    • Totally agree pricing for mens briefs is laughable.

I've never been a fan of the bonds guy-fronts. Heaps of way better options out there IMO - Bonds aren't what they once were.

    • Why no like? And what do u prefer?

      • +1

I've noticed my Bonds wearing out and losing elasticity a lot quicker in the past few years. Well after production moved overseas so don't think that was the cause, quality's just gone down a lot.

        • bobjane: Agree. I have noticed the same. Quality level has seem to gone down.

The last lot of Bonds trucks/underwear I bought (3 pairs), the stitching started falling apart on all three pairs within a month or two. I've started buying the K-Mart 'Alpha' brand, the plain black ones. Quite comfortable and reasonable price, and have lasted longer than the Bonds ones. I'll keep buying them for now.

        • The last lot of Bonds trucks

That will cause a huge bulge.

        • +1 for Kmart ones. FTW!

      • In regards directly to the guy-fronts - I've just found the material to lose its softness really quickly and elasticity not being up to scratch. Even got a hole in a pair that was worn a quarter the time of others.

Bonds as a whole have suffered from the same fate though. Socks are just meh and not deserving of their premium price. For cheap and quality I've found the Holeproof briefs to just keep going and going and for something a little snazzier give Aussiebum a go.

    • Can you point out the better options as I'm interested to try different ones.

      • I've had some Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein pairs for over two years now. I wear them all the time and as far as I can tell they haven't lost any elasticity. I've got Bonds and Kenji pairs that are newer and that I've worn less but have already torn and lost elasticity. Yeah Hilfiger and CK are more expensive but you get what you pay for and I got both sets on here for pretty decent prices anyway.

        • I've tried CK before, they didn't last a dozen wears before elastic became loose.

Bonds are the best for me

      • Bought some Levi's trunks from The Hut with a deal on ozbargain some years ago. Excellent long-lasting elastic waistband and very comfortable cotton material, lasted a few years before the cotton material started coming off the elastic band, forming holes at the junction. From memory they were about £10/2-pack (approx $20AUD) delivered at the time. Getting difficult to find nowadays

        • I bought a heap of Everlast ones really cheap from Zavvi years ago, still going strong.

      • Give Aussiebum a go.

      • Try Boody, their underwear and socks are more comfortable than anything I've tried before in my 40+ years.

Their socks are actually amazing (the thicker boot ones that is) and being bamboo barely any smell for those with foot odor problems.

  • ok

  • I go commando style all the time

    • … then you must close the zipper very slowly and carefully.

      • Or he just doesn't close it.

        • Then he will get in trouble for indecent exposure.

      • +1

Hahaha… I remember my old next door neighbour got it caught in the zipper and had to go to the hospital to get it out. Funny as fcuk

        • No joke?

          There's something about Mary…

        • @TheOneWhoKnocks: Didn't sound like a bs story at the time, came up having a few drinks and talking sh!t. His mates were pissing themselves laughing about it and he was pretty embarrassed.

  • Good price but the Bond sport are $7 when on sale at Coles/Woolies. They have a thicker band at the top.

  • Finally a chance to use that Shipster subscription.

2 x 3 packs for $35 (have to spend $25 to get free shipping with Shipster).

  • 27 pack for some.. inside\ out ; back to front.

  • +1

    Medium Sold Out

  • Already use these but these are much better than the half price deals at woolies and Coles. Bought 9 for $48 (including cashrewards).
    Thanks OP.

  • Are these reversible?

    • +4

Yes, I believe they can be worn on your head.

    • Why? Do you wanna poop without taking them off?

  • are these back in stock?

    • whoops didnt check

  • Just got an e-mail that they have refunded my purchase because the warehouse was out of stock. Really odd. I ordered these pretty early too. They need to sort out their online inventory database.

    • same here.

      just got the email.

      • …and they refunded me for each line item separately… so 3x $17.49

    • -1

      Yep same :(
At least they could've provided us with some credit like GG or HN.

    • just as a datapoint, i ordered at 11:30am Sydney time, and mine have shipped

      • Mine also shipped, probably just a bit before you.

  • Same…. very annoyed. They also probably don't want to honour the discount.

  • Mine were shipped yesterday and arrived just now - that's very fast shipping!
