Dewalt Discounts @ Bunnings until Sunday (22/10). eg 10.8v Li-Ion Cordless 3x 360° Green Beam Line Laser $558 Save $87

70

Bunnings is discounting some DeWalt products - most likely to rival Sydney tools "DeWalt Roadshow" (which just seems to be advertising without discount).
Trade email I got said it ends Sunday 22 Oct (cheaper with a Powerpass - eg Laser is $531). Not often Bunnings discounts DeWalt products except for special edition combo kits.

Looks like a whole stack of stuff on sale

  • I read the heading and thought the laser level was $87 and got excited :(

    • I saw cordless and became excited.

  • Was hoping their cheaper mitre saw would be discounted :(

  • Yeah, bunnings really watch Sydney Power Tool prices now, like Dans checking liquor prices every morning.

I'm stuck in the Makita ecosystem for cordless stuff, though with the Ozito 4A lithiums on special and they also have some brushless it's tempting for DIY users.

Once you've invested in a few batteries and charger you are stuck as not everything is worn out at the same time.

I bought a lot of my tools at discount using the 10% price match back in the day but they watch the prices like a hawk now. I suppose Bunnings putting things on sale is an improvement because they never used to.

  • Well done mate. I was very tempted to get the DW-745 table saw for $815 at Sydney Tools but the same saw is about $713 with powerpass at Bunnings. Plus you can redeem the circular saw too. Might have to make a little trip after work. Yes - I am (ahem) "working" right now, why do you ask?

  • Is it worth getting he table saw from Sydney Tools noting the other freebies, guessing only worth it if you have shop front to go to though.

    • Even then I think Bunnings would be better for their return policy.

      • I think you can still claim the circular saw so it is the stand and radio the difference.

  • Recently got the Dewalt red line laser for $89 (ran on AA batteries), but it was a clearance item.

The discounts are too crap to qualify as a sale. I cant believe they had a variable message sign advertising this hopeless sale at my local bunnings.

    • Have you found this stuff cheaper elsewhere?
10-15% discount on stuff that normally doesn't go on sale is pretty good.

      • I suppose I should clarify. My bunnings advertised it as a clear out. At 5-10% it is not a clear out. It's a typical sale.

        • Especially dumb as most of the lines are new flexvolt and definitely not clear out.

  • Great deal, thanks for posting.

  • Update, I got the table saw from Bunnings, https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-1850w-254mm-table-saw_p62… for $751 but nothing came off for PowerPass, I guess it was already to heavily discounted.
