I always get this when I follow your links:

Found in: Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list

  • Anything like this also battery run that i can put outdoors? something to light the the dangerous front entrance path at night. tried the solar stuff, it's no good

This plus a USB power bank?

do that.. you will have a lot of OZB in front of your house..

    • There are two versions available, standard as listed, and rechargeable for around $3 more.

Says "rechargeable type with 2000mAh inbuilt Li-ion battery, the lighting time is up to 5 hrs."

As mentioned and pictured, can also plug in power bank to far extend run times.

      • i dont think its weatherproof

maybe that could be xiaomis next product

        • Sure, I never meant to put in outside under the clouds. A lot of front or even rear entrances have a roof cover or patio, so would suit some. Your right about it not being ideal as a permanent outdoor light, more for the occasional late night arriving guest or party etc.

        • @ozhunter68: any chance you have a power outlet anywhere near where you want the light?

        • @furythree:

I like this product, but not going to get it now, maybe something similar in the future.

I like the concept, especially with battery to move around and use it for a few hours from room to room, or maybe even outside ( where covered ). Would love this product to have some weatherproofing as to double up for "glamping" lol.

@ozhunter68: you could consider the blitzwolf lantern thingy thats been posted here before by CLEAR (user below)

its basically a portable battery bank to charge your phone but designed with an LED bar and a loop at one end so the led feeds off the battery banks power to be hung up and used like a camping lantern. Also waterproof as well i think

other than the annoying need to charge it, sounds like what you could use

alternative is maybe getting some wiring to the exterior of your house. the possibilites are then endless. wifi smartbulb that you can set timers, triggers etc etc. coupled with a xiaomi sensor. for example

        • @furythree:

Thanks for the info. Will look into it.

  • good price - thank you!

I thought this was the wifi version … and now have one on the way … oh well, at $33 I'm still happy :)
