          That is way too high for USD or AUD.

          I wonder if you selected AED as the currency, thinking it was AUD? Go to top left corner and check and set to USD (you can select AUD but it will be slightly more than current exchange rates)

          Because AED $6.58 is about AU $2.28

          I'm almost sure that must be it.

      Strobe on my ledlenser is what I call the anti rapey mode, supposedly to disorient a predator.
      I'm yet to be attacked with torch in hand to test it's effectiveness

    Very high chance at this price that it is a fake Cree. The fake Crees still put out a decent amount of light but will likely have less appealing tints than genuine Crees.
