Thanks for the heads up, I just confirmed with the rep it is Plus version, same listing as the previous deal. The review photos eg here also confirm + the description/specs are for the Plus version not the regular.

This card does not match any official Samsung product on their website, but strangely if you google it the first hit is JB HiFi selling the same card.

On Samsung's website this card has the U1 logo not U3

On their Korean website only the 256 Evo Plus has the U3 logo and their Pro Plus cards are U3.

I wonder if this is a newer model that they are making to be suitable for 4K video recording?

Also weird that it says on the GearBest site: Support 4K Video Recording: No
If this is speed class U3 then it should support 4K video.

I checked on the Chinese Samsung site and there is no mention of the SD card adaptor so that part seems normal.

        • The U1 version is the EVO + with the slower read/write speeds.
The U3 version a 2017 release renamed to EVO Plus with the faster read/write speeds.
The only exception to this is the 256GB model.

  • Bought one, thanks

        • @bargainfinder:
Evo Select is recommended over the Evo Plus if you need high transfer rates such as 4K, highly recommended

    • How did you buy 3? Using three separate accounts?
Thanks anyway to OP. Bought one.

      • If you wanted more than 1 you should be able to order up to 3 per account but need to do it as separate transactions.

Should be 3 per account but need to do 3 separate transactions. Haven't tested it though.

        • Cheers. Only want one anyway.

      • +1

Yeah, brought 3 via 3 separate transactions. 4th tranaction no longer accepts the coupon code.

    • I intended bought one there, but worry about its genuine then refresh oz and found this.

Voucher worked correctly for me after I signed in.

  • How long do they usually take to ship it here?

    • About 3-5 weeks. My recent orders have been about 4 weeks.

  • +1

Riker88 make sure you are not behind an overseas VPN and with a fresh browser (that was my initial problem).
$0 delivery is 15-28 business days, however plenty of time and good shopping for Xmas gifts.
The instructions provided by Hamza23 are detailed, but all together they work, THANKS :)

OP, it's not UHS-3, it's U3. The little letter "I" beside the U3 logo indicates it is UHS-I.

U(number) is a speed grade, UHS-(Roman number) indicates how it transfers data.

UHS-II and UHS-III cards are really easy to spot, they have an extra row of contacts, see pic:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#Ultra_High_Spee…

This is the third time I've corrected this mistake in the last week. I wish the retailers would describe the cards correctly!

    • Thank you, I'll fix that up. So "UHS-I U3" would be the correct way to describe it?

      • That description is fine.

U3 is most important thing for most people, UHS if far less important. UHS-III cards aren't yet known to exist, UHS-II cards are exceedingly rare (UHS-I works up to 105Mbytes/second read speed, very few cards are fast enough that they need UHS-II).

    • +1

That's strange this link says it does, looks like the exact same card?

      • Q
Can You confirm this is the 2017 model listed on Samsung site, which has 60 Mb/s write speed and is suitable for 4k video recordings?
        By Giuseppe Jul-26/2017 05:07:45

        A
        Hello Giuseppe,
        Please check it as below:
        Read Speed: 100MB/s
        Write Speed: 60MB/s
        Support 4K Video Recording: No
Let me know if you need any further assistance.

        From their Q&A

        It's not clear at all…..

      • Ah you found the matching model!
So it is a new model for 2017 that they upgraded from U1 to U3 so it can do 4K video now.

    • +1

Just look at your camera and see what its 4K video bitrate is recorded in. If the video bitrate is way less than 60MB/s (note not 60Mb/s) then this card should be able to handle its 4K recording.

  • Thanks, got one.

Hope I can receive this in 2017.

  • I don't know why but I got one for my D3400. Thanks OP

  • I don't mean to pour cold water here, but I am not sure if it's the PLUS version.

The title of the product is:
Original Samsung UHS-3 64GB Micro SDXC Memory Card - 64GB ORANGE

Should the PLUS version be in RED (not ORANGE)???

  • Ordered one for my HTC re Camera; thanks hamza23

  • +1

Ordered one here now and one yesterday from Geekbuying and forgot cashback both times lol.

This will go well in my grey import Moto G5 + you convinced me to get and very happy. Thanks hamza23

    • Yes and it was a whole .15cents.

      • Sure, but could have saved around 80 cents on yesterdays overpriced card lol.

  • +1

Got 1 though not needed now but rate is good. Thanks OP

  • Thanks, got 1.

  • The Code you entered has expired. =(

  • +2

    Says code expired.. anyone else?

    • same here

    • yepsame

  • Expired?

  • Can someone tell me why regular size SD cards don't go on sale as often? Are there benefits to having a regular sized SD card in comparison to a micro SD with an adaptor?

    • Full-size SD cards have a write-protect switch on the side, that's it.

Actually, it's not a switch, it's just a slider. If it's in the "lock" position, it depresses a switch in the device you are inserting the SD catd into, so the device doesn't write to the card.

I think some adaptors have the slider, but many don't. And if you plugging a micro-SD card into something, there's no write protect slider.

    • Micro SD is more popular as it could be used with or without adapter. I personally prefer micro SD with an adapter rather than the regular SD. The speed are same but the adapter add another layer of protection for the card.

      • I had this faint memory that this is not actually the case, a quick google search later: sdtool.

This wasn't what I was thinking of but close enough to the point.

  • Back in stock via new code BuzzBuzzBuzz16. Thanks buzz.

    • BuzzBuzzBuzz16 is just adding $13 to the unit cost when I try it

      • Nah still working - make sure you're logged in or AU/NZ IP

      • Did you login or buy more than once?

  • How long does shipping usually take?

  • Bought, ta!

  • Thanks needed for my Mavic!

  • Bought another one without a reason….omg…
I still have 2 64GB Evo in my drawer not even opened…

  • did I do something wrong:
    before apply code: 29.40AUD
    after apply code: 42.63AUD

    is there any reason?

    • Logged in, only 1 in your cart and on Australian IP address?

      • A NZ IP address is also fine.

  • I think they just changed it back to $42. Was about to buy and the price changed.

    • Well F*** me, just as I was about to purchase 3

  • Expired

  • I would have thought these U3 cards are 4K compatible though the website specs says otherwise

  • Did anyone receive theirs from the first round to confirm its the plus?

  • Available again with new code BuzzBuzzBuzz18

  • Wow!

  • Thanks OP bought 1 for:

    Total: AU$21.62

    :)

  • new year present sorted!

    • What's a new year present?

      • just made it up.

        OK…Valentine present's sorted

        • @mooreshady: if you're lucky

        • @mooreshady:

  • I get the following message when inputting code "The Code you entered is not for this product."

  • It works out to be $21.63 for me through paypal.

  • bloody expired XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

    • yep, dammit

  • 2% CR as well I guess

  • Exactly what I am after! Thank you

  • "The Code you entered has expired" for BuzzBuzzBuzz18

    =(

  • the code you entered has expired….price jumped from $21.63 to $42.42 after I finished in Paypal and selected free shipping.

I guess the 500 have been ozbargained.

    • Same here, thought it was a price display bug (I have previous orders which show 'full price' when they were bought with coupon discounts) and continued… now trying to cancel the order as it is indeed now full price.

      Bah.

      • so glad I always check price before finally committing….

Guess I didn't really need one anyway
