This deal came in the daily spam. Quite cheap for a good card. I'm not sure how long the deal lasts for.

Only buy from a reputable store that has a reputation to protect. I limit myself to stores that have a bricks and mortar shop in Australia or large online retailers which have a reputation to protect.
Out of curiosity did you leave negative feedback for the seller to warn others?
I reported to eBay, seller cancelled my order, and with that cancel, I can't leave any feedback! I hope eBay will do something about the seller.
eBay is dodgy as. I dont fault the seller really, he's only taking advantage of a 'loop-hole' eBay is currently 'providing' to these sellers.
Less negative feedback equals to more sales equals to more profit for eBay. eBay don't care about your buying-selling experience, they care only to make a done-deal-sale.the only way you can leave a negative feedback is if you don't open a case against the seller, which is WTF. sadly, they're one of the only ones monopoly-ing in the buying/selling online.
I received a EVO+ 128GB uSD from GearBest recently, see results here
Not the same seller obviously but you would be covered by PayPal.
OP, this is not a UHS-3 card, despite what Geekbuying say. It is a U3 card, which specifies the write speed. The little "I" beside the U3 indicates it is UHS-I, not UHS-III. UHS-1 and UHS-III describe the way the data is transferred, not the write speed. Samsung do not claim UHS-III, and all the review sites say it is UHS-I. Most sellers also correctly state it as UHS-I, e.g. http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_424664_Samsung_EVO_Plus_6…
Okay, so it's not good value at that price?
It's good value, but the title at the moment is misleading.
There is a lot of confusion about what U3 and UHS-III mean. U(number) is the write speed, UHS-(Roman number) is the bus interface.
UHS-II and UHS-III cards are easy to spot, they have an extra row of contacts, see picture:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#Ultra_High_Spee…Never mind. I just realized it's from Geekbuying. Also, would rather get a 128GB card for my GoPro and Switch.
UHS-III spec only came out 6 months ago…
I doubt there's any card or reader that implements it yet.
Even UHS-II is only used on the top of the range super expensive cards.
@Thrawn:
Agreed, UHS-III isn't needed yet, when UHS-II can do 312 Mbytes/second at top speed. I'm not aware of any card that reaches even half that speed. With UHS-II at 312 Mbytes/second, a card transferring at that speed must be generating a fair bit of heat. Perhaps we won't see any UHS-III cards, the higher speed means more heat, and maybe the heat build-up will be a limitation they can't overcome.
@Russ: Heat spreaders on cards becoming a thing?
Thanks. I knew about the concept when it related to CF cards (from research years ago) but didn't know about SD cards.
I am guessing those cheap small-capacity memory cards have been sold out in the past few years. May be you can search around and let us know here thanks.
prices are rising quickly - they said Samsung's production problems.
How come this got marked as expired? It's still showing for me - albeit 8c more expensive now due to fluctuations in the exchange rate.
This promotion will last for another 3 days and 19 hours ;)
why it turns out $30.50 when I added to cart?
Showing as 22.99USD for me.
Yeah, looks like the price has gone up. I'll mark it as expired.
$21.99 at GearBest, dollar dearer than OP but a dollar cheaper than current.
How do I be sure it is genuine? I bought 2 from local ebay and they turned out to be 16GB instead of 64GB. They did the refund to me straight away.
