Leather sandals, $100?
Hmm, there are some very harsh judges around here, even for a newby post
Let’s see how immortal the OP is
These would look great with white socks.
Are these gold plated?
I have a few pairs of Teva sandals and the quality is excellent very comfy, have durable soles and have lasted many years
I have a few pairs of $5 ones from Kmart and the quality is excellent very comfy, have durable soles and have lasted many years
Geniune leather? Also the soles on these are great can't compare them to cheap Kmart ones that quickly lose their support, very grippy you can even go hiking with these they are that good lol.
These are not good for hiking. I once knocked a toenail off on a rock while bushwalking in a pair of Teva's. Avoid this if possible, trust. The pain! The soles are grippy but toes need protection. Save this style for the beach or casual walking.
@sparkles: Yes I know they aren't for hiking that is why I put lol at the end of my statement. I agree, for the beach they are great, good also when a lot of walking is required in the summer heat.
For those genuinely interested in the current line of K-mart sandals, it's $25 for the Everyday Sandals. They only go up to size 12 for whatever reason but the caged ones (also $25) sometimes go to size 13.
Rivers also sells synthetic "Everyday" sandals for the same price but size 13 is sometimes available.
The new Crocs?
Sandals pre-date Crocs by about 8000 years, but fashion does go in cycles.
Well, these are half the price of the Mephisto Valden.
Much rather buy crocs on sale
So hot right now.
Cold shower helps
What are thooosssseee.
I have a pair from Teva and I take it for travel (UK, NZ, Nepal, Vietnam, Singapore….and its still in excellent condition.
Is that because they're so hideous that you don't actually take them out of your suitcase?
Almost 30 degrees there everyday except for Nepal. I dare you to wear close shoes and walk for 5-7 hours everyday
Have lived in the Middle East and equatorial jungle. I know hot and humid.
keens > teva
Yeah. I prefer the cheap verson of Teva, not leather one
My foot sweat quickly ruined a pair of these. Wouldn't buy again
These are great all rounders, There the ferrari of crocs. Took myen to the beat megaclub here in brisbane the other night and let's just say I was getting a few stares, Good ones i hope. 9.87/10 Would recommend
I have a pair of teva's i bought 2 months ago. Im not exaggerating, but it is the best pair of mountain sandals i have ever bought!I used them mainly for walking in mixed terrain about 20 kms per day for 5 days..
Excellent price for very highly rated hiking sandals. A bit heavy, but very well designed and made. Tanza is a bit lighter, with less aggressive sole pattern (more city oriented).
$90 at catch of the day
A bold move đŸ˜³
