While part of me agrees with you and thinks this posting gun deals is unseemly and disrespectful, another part wants to point out the hypocrisy of saying that when people are being slaughtered all the time around the world, with no recognition.
I doubt we'll see them complain next time I kitchen knife set is posted but people are getting stabbed to death every day by them.
Or two for one deals on burgers they do or dont finish while kids literally starve to death.

For those really interested in a .223, the Howa 1500 presents as much better value IMO. I tried both before purchase and not only was the finish much nicer (Hogue stock vs hard plasticky stock), but it was noticeably superior for accuracy, and it's cheaper to boot.
Go for the mini-action Howa if you want a magazine, the normal 1500 has a floor plate (and while you can get magazine kits for them, the mini-action does away with this need, and has a shorter bolt throw to boot).
