I had the Rolo & it was filthy dude, I returned it to Woolies & they refunded my money without question thank goodness! I never made it through a bowl!!! :o

Rolo is pretty good for Peters. Its just not as good as decent brand of Icecream.
Yeah, mine was festy, had a horrid aftertaste. The bits of chocolate in it weren't anything like Rolo either, no taste at all, like brown wax! After about three spoonfuls I scooped the remainder back into the tub & returned it! I never do that with any other icecream! :o
You kinda expect cheap nasty choc chips in dodgy branded icecream, but as the dude at Woolies pointed out to me, this is meant to be a premium product at the price, you kinda expect a little better! ;)

Whats the violet crumble like ? peters is usually just okay the plain ice cream is almost titanium white and doesnt taste nice like bulla or streets etc
My buddy reckoned the VC wasn't anything to write home about either, when I was bitching to him about my Rolo experience! I can't vouch for that though, I'm not brave enough to try Overload again! Peters should bring back "Entice" dammit! ;)
I find it really hard to get good icecream in the supermarket now, they keep taking all the nice stuff off the market & replacing it with fairly ordinary flavours! And I do think $8+ for Homer Hudson et.al. is pretty unreasonable for 500mls.
I used to love "Nuts About Chocolate" by Dairy Bell…gone! :(
Wow me too (nuts about choc) except it just started to get more and more water and less cream just started tasting like a bad hot choc
I never really liked the entice and if this is not as good then i am staying away, i dont eat much ice cream but when i do i like it good , serendipity is the good aussie one, i used to eat that a lot
lol yeah it's like chocolate/caramel flavoured ice cream or something with some nice caramel throughout (more caramel would have done the job though) and the choc chips were nice. maybe just the tub you got was bad hehe
