  • Cheers OP ;)

  • Gah, code expired while it was in my cart. :(

    • It still works for me? Try checkout in a different browser.

      • Yeah, disregard. I screwed it up somehow. All good!

        • Expired for me as well because I was going back and forth. Made a new acc and it worked :)

  • do these need to be charged before using it ?

    • +1

Yep, they'd have a tiny lipo cell in them.
"- Run Time: Up to 8 Hours", but I'd take that with an emphasis on the 'up to' part.

      • Thankyou :) bought one

  • Thanks Op.

    • +4

No worries, your username checks out.

  • Thanks, bought one

Thanks OP! Missed out last time but got one just now :D

  • Always wanted to give this a try. Bought one thanks OP

  • Nintendo switch issue solved.

    • +1

No, for that you need a Transmitter, not a Receiver ;)

      • thanks. you just saved me $1.27

        • +1

No worries. Now go hit up the work vending machine :P

  • Thanks OP!

Coupon has expired already unfortunately, I will keep an eye out for any other coupons for this price and get this highlighted again if it pops up.

  • -3

Useless. Entered everything as required, went all the way to the final screen after having to fix my address which gearbest screwed up (correct in paypal), then had to add a phone number (wtf?), then went to hit confirm and the coupon expired. Thanks for wasting my time, fools!

    • This happened to me before but i went in to order history and the order was still there for the coupon price. I just had to pay it.

      • -1

I just checked my order history and it only shows one order from a year ago. Nothing recent there. Ah well. Cheers anyway.

  • This coupon got Ozbargained, for future deals (hint: hunt around on budget light forums) I will be sure to set an alarm on my phone to remind me.

  • I've missed this like 4 times now. Always by like 5 - 10 minutes too.

    • +5

I will PM you when I next hear about a promotion for this product.

      • Thank you so much <3

  • Got one thanks!

  • Sucks missed out

  • Will these work if you plug it into one of those Apple compatible only radios with aux, and connect to it with an Android phone?

    Any reviews? Any hissing sounds?

    • Will these work .. with aux

      Yes

      Any reviews?

It's 1 dollar, just give it a try

      Any hissing sounds?

Hissing sounds would be Unlikely. But don't expect great audio from it. I don't have one but I've had similar (30-50x more expensive) devices in the past. Music will sound muddy.

    • .dupe!

  • Been thinking of getting one these even without a coupon (didn't see this till this morning d'oh).

But can you use these ones while it is charging? And if you do does it introduce that charging buzz noise like other devices?

  • These are utter rubbish. Even if free they're not worth it. Spend a few $$ extra and get a decent one..

    • What's so rubbish about them?

      • They don't work.. Had one and it wouldn't pair with 3 different iPhones or a Windows Mobile.. They're junk

  • I bought one without a code on a whim when shopping for something else on GB that did have a code. Could have saved that dollar or so.

    I'm not expecting great things.

  • Damn this is the second time I missed out on this. Not tempted to pay full price for it either as I dont think its going to live up to my great expectations for a cheap arse device.

  • Back again.

    • Yep just saw it and POUNCED LIKE A RAVING TIGER.

    • My bad, didn't realise that it would be considered a dupe, might be worth a highlight as these are really popular.

      • Duplicate Guidelines but seems some have been slipping through (and Gearbest artificially limiting quantities to gain by this). All good doweyy and have highlighted deal for an hour.

        • It's back again with 500 more pieces using "doweyy1018", might be worth a highlight later on cause of how popular it is.

        • @doweyy:

          Done.

  • thanks! I bought one now

  • Worth a shot for $1.24. Cheers OP!

  • last gearbest deal i had to chase the order up, and only then found they were never sending it out as there was no stock. So very hesitant to buy anything thats being ozbargained from them

  • seems code has expired

    • Still works for me?

  • Missed out last time; got it this time. Thanks!

  • These are great, i have a few actually.

They require powering from a usb port (it appears they have an in built battery/capicator). You just hold the button and turn on - a little voice "power on" then "Bluetooth connected"

Wish i could turn the voice off though, and change the sleep mode. oh well.

  • Thanks, missed out last time

  • Just expired again.

    • Yeah I was putting my address, then next page the price has gone back up. Lucky I didn't press proceed

  • +1

    Hi All,
I have tried 3 times, shows Code is Expired.
    Please help?

  • Sweet, Finally got one! Thanks OP : D

    • Which code??

      • bit late now, but I used 11NOV229

  • It just worked for me - thanks!

I think I used 11NOV229 (not 11NOVAU1) and paid in USD (not AUD) because I was in too much of a hurry to read the instructions :D

    • I never knew that I always wanted one!

  • Looks like it’s over again unfortunately, that was quick..

  • Not working for me. All codes\

  • Ohh.. I want one!!! Can we have more of this like the Mi USB Light??

    • Back again using "doweyy1018" :)

      • +1

Yup! Got it!!! Yay :) Thanks buddy!!

  • Thanks : ) just bought one : )

  • Due to OzBargain, I have brought around 10 items from GearBest this week; mostly junk that I don't really need. That's it! No more purchases for the rest of this week!

  • Still haven't received mine from last deal

  • +1

Received mine when posted earlier, seems to work well. Range was better than I expected (at least 15m line of sight), sounded alright and didn't seem to stutter. Everything sounds a little crappy/compressed over Bluetooth coming from my LG G6 (apparently caused by having a smartwatch connected at the same time) but it still sounded reasonable. Only tested it for a few minutes.

  • Has anyone tried this on a plane Ife?

  • +4

Got mine today from the last time this was on offer. No problems pairing it with my Android phone. Sound quality is acceptable, certainly good enough for the car where I'll probably use it. Too early to comment on battery life, but it seems to work fine while charging. Unit seems solid enough, and doesn't look especially cheap and nasty. Better than I expected!

    • While using it when charging does it make a buzzing noise or anything like that?
(still waiting for mine to arrive)

      • +1

No, I didn't hear any buzzing or hissing while charging.

      • there's a hissing sound that kicks in through the speakers after 30 seconds of nothing playing in my experience, no big deal so long as somethings playing.
other than that i can't fault it. the sound quality is great can barely tell the difference between AUX and this on my Z-5500s
        best $1.30 i've ever spent!

  • Can some explain me how to connect use this with my desktop and the wireless earphones…. I am not sure how to pair them. My office desktop doesn't have Bluetooth hence I bought this.

    • it doesn't work like that
this adapter is a receiver, one way data(music) transfer so it can only receive(IN) data(e.g phone(bluetooth) to receiver (bluetooth) to speakers)

since your pc doesn't have bluetooth capability, what you need is a 2 way USB bluetooth adapter so you can transfer data OUT so to speak (e.g computer+USB bluetooth adapter to your bluetooth headphones)
      something like this should work
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-Bluetooth-v4-0-Adapter-Dongl…

      hope that makes sense

      • Hey, mate. Thanks. I understand what it is now.

  • :(

  • Got mine this week. Has a very disappointing range of about 40cm :(

    • Same! Got mine this week and it's pretty flakey even at short distances. And dunno what product people above were talking about now as mine turn off when the USB cable is plugged in (i.e. can't charge and use it at the same time).

That said I modded mine already so I can power it straight from USB. Pity my attempted antenna improvement hasn't worked, if not made it worse.

That said if it came up again I'd probably buy another to see if it's just a dud I got.
