Guaranteed knee problems.
why?
if you jog or do any strenuous activity in them but let's be honest, this is ozbargain, at best these will be used to drive to the local KFC or Hungry Jacks where the only threat to your health is cholesterol.
But why would that cause knee problems? Honest question.
the cushioning is inadequate to non existant for that purpose
volleys are fine for lazying around stuff… they are the construction industries favourite footwear
@tonyjzx: inadequate how? I promise I'm not trying to be dense, but having heaps of cushioning isn't necessarily the best thing for your knees. I had shin splints and knee problems for years and when I switched to minimal shoes my problems went away. I'm not a small guy either (188cm and 100kg), and I've run a marathon in New Balance Minimus 0mm drop shoes, and a few 15k's in Vibram FiveFingers. The longest I ever made it in cushioned shoes before giving up was 10k
@damoo: ha thanks. It certainly wasn't easy, fast, or pretty to watch, but my pig-headedness got me there in just under 4 hours without stopping to walk.

Are ozbargainers so homogeneous? I doubt it!
@tonyjzx: The lack of cushioning is what makes it a favourite for people who practise parkour. But I hear the quality isn't what it used to be.
I remember volleys only being $10-20 at big w… "back in my day"
Either way, I stumbled on $5 canvas volleys: https://www.bigw.com.au/product/volley-international-canvas-… not particularly my style but someone might be interested
