Went to Harvey Norman (Qld Browns Plains store) to look for the clearance Vodafone packs reported on Ozb. Couldn't find that (possibly all sold out) but instead found this $30 pack for $2. There were about 10 packs right next to the checkout counter.

Note the package says 1GB data and 28 days expiry, and comes with only standard and micro size. Date of manufacture is 13-11-14 so quite old stock.

  Activated a pack like this, it will actually activate on Vodafone's most current offering. 1GB plans $30 plans don't exist anymore.

    Curious, I asked Vodafone about this when they discontinued the plan. They said they would activate on the plan on the packaging. However, without favourites packs I wouldn't choose that plan any more. I reckon Voda CSRs would let you activate it on any plan with a $30 recharge even if the on-line activation doesn't. Personally, I'd choose the 365 day plan.

  I bought 2x$2 Sims today. 0 credit. :-(

  Note that these don't include Nano SIM cutout, but you can either cut to size (if you're game) or pop into a Vodafone store and swap the SIM for free once registered.

  Not sure why the deal was marked expired. Went there this morning and there were still 8 available (7 after I took one).
