Disagreed. The potting mix on the image is not Earthwise essential mix of 22l. It’s 25 l and moisture plus. So the title must be right
Nine hours ago the title said Richgrow. I've made much bigger errors at OzBargain. My link refers to what my local branch offers instead.
This doesn't seem to have any Australian Standard classification…
Richgrow claims their potting mixes are all blended to premium level - but no ticks???
Anyone know the standard of this mix?I know the one mentioned above (Earthwise) is so crappy I wouldn’t use it even if it were free.
When I first started gardening I got the non certified stuff that was cheap and my plants either didn’t grow or died. If you’re interested in your plants surviving you’re much better off getting decent potting mix, at least look for the certification ticks.
So true go for potting mixes that meet Aust standards

Big W sell very cheap black ticks mix

You really know your mixes.
This stuff is rubbish. Cheap potting mixes use sawdust as filler. If doesn't last long before it becomes compacted. A good quality potting mix uses composted pine bark particles that keep their integrity much longer and aid good drainage and micro bacterial activity.
If u plan to make Ur own potting mixture the cheap stuff is great. I use it all alot to make well drained mixes for my fruit trees in pots
likely in response to woolies doing 2 for $5 again
think same mix as mentioned in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/211722 (or possibly Brunnings)
OP perhaps amend title to Richgro. Cessnock NSW has Earthwise Growing Essentials 22L Multi Purpose Potting Mix for $2. https://www.bunnings.com.au/earthwise-growing-essentials-22l…
