I used the last bonvoyage Crown Towers deal, price was good, I was very happy with it.

  • Did everything go smoothly when you checked in under the Crown Towers promo? I've booked for Dec.Am wondering if I'd need to contact Crown directly to ensure they have my bookings?

    • +1

Crown emailed me 3 days before the day of the booking just as a reminder and offering discounted room upgrades (I checked the next day and some of the upgrades were no longer available - so maybe a deal there lol?). No harm in contacting them to confirm if you want to. I did forget to bring the Bonvoyage coupon with the barcode and had to email it to reception at check-in so remember to bring that, otherwise all smooth.

I used mine about 3 weeks ago. I didn't get any email from Crown but they have my booking. But as MaxD said, bring your voucher. Everything was fabulous. My 6 year old was particularly impress with the TV positioned in front of the bath tub 😂 Wished I had booked 2 nights consecutively

  • This looks good, though valet parking is $50! Anyone still think it's worth it if we have to pay for parking or can anyone suggest nearby overnight parking?

    • +1

I thought that too. I think on weekends you should be able to get 24 hour parking for $10-$15 nearby, but on weekdays $50 is probably cheap.

  • I haven't use this website before - I just joined and looked it up, so you buy a 'voucher' from the website and then have to call to actually book - is that right? I'm always a bit suspicious about paying for a voucher before confirming availability.

    • +2

When you are logged in you can check availability before you buy. When you buy you can book immediately using the website or go back and do it latter. I checked and seemingly every single day I could see was available except for the blackout days. You can also get a refund for 14 days after purchase (if you haven't redeemed the voucher).

It appears Bonvoyage is just a brand of Catchoftheday, they are using the same address in Springvale.

      • Ok nice, I think I'm having flashbacks from buying Scoopon vouchers years ago that could never actually be redeemed when you called to book. Good to know you can book via the website!

  • +2

If you are using Wilson's Book a Bay and staying for 2 or more days you can park at the Parkade car park just a short distance away for $30 a day plus 50c booking fee. Never tried it so not sure if it means you leave the car there the whole time but if you are staying it might be worth it.

  • I stayed at the Windsor earlier this year. Was overrated IMO. I know the idea is that everything is meant to be old and original, but seemed as though everything was worn out.

None the less I paid alot more than $169 :)

  • It's a good deal, athough it's worth nowhere near $422.

For example if you take the case of OP, Sunday night is usually one of the cheapest nights. There are sometimes 30%-40% discount sales for this hotel on cheaptickets.com. If you also use the standard 16% cheaptickets discount code you can already get pretty good prices.

    Still a plus from me.
