        "Black Forest. Too scary "

You're thinking of Belanglo State Forest cheesecake.

  • +2

As long as they don't change coffee pecan.

    • +8

4 slices for the whole state.

A bit like our GST carve up.

Damn, I missed out… but it was only for CheeseCake. =)

Wow that's a lot of wasted plastic.

  • sweet deal!

Lol. I remember getting a free slice from a promotion 10 years ago and its less than 1cm in thickness so one cheesecake could be carved into maybe 64 slices…

  • As someone who gets free Cheesecake shop cakes almost every week… don't. Just don't. The cakes are terrible.

    • +10

Perhaps that opinion has more to do with the fact that you're eating them "almost every week".

    • +2

How do you get them for free?

      • +4

        Dumpster diving.

Guessing they (or a family member) works for Cheesecake Chop and they take home they 'old' ones. Most companies have a pretty strict policy regarding taking home excess/old product. So technically they are prob stealing it.

Purchased for work birthdays. We've had the entire range now. Most of them are inedible, some are passable. None are good and definitely none are great.

It's time for you to stand up and say 'STOP IT! STOP BUYING THESE GOD_AWFUL CHEESECAKES!'

There are lots of good cake shops, such as Lux Bite with the lollybag cake or The Vanilla V8 from Zumbo.

@hell0: I know right? Even bloody Michel's Patisserie was better! (We had them for a few weeks some years ago… if only….)

  • Must be a long queue that day I guess?

  • +1

    2-4pm. Ughh.

  • Just had some, well, at least it was free. No different from those 3 dollar frozen ones from the supermarket.

  • +2

Picked up one from Highpoint store.. options were lemon or strawberry…
There were no lines at all! Thanks OP! 😊

Thanks guys, this was amazing. Picked up a slice at Indro this arvo. The queue was about 3 minutes long. The staff handing out the cakes was super friendly.

Saw a couple of guys eating outside going back for seconds and got caught out by someone just leaving… :/

Thanks for this - stopped by and had some. Staff were friendly, just a few other people in there at the same time.
