Wow, I had no idea that The Book Depository was selling board games now.

https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/164153/star-wars-imperia…they have for years. about almost 2 years ago though FFG stopped using ISBNs and now they dont have any new ones.
That's quite the deal when you consider postage is free.
How hard or easy is this game to pick up and play? Bought game of thrones and it takes hours to learn how to play, and given it needs 4-6 players is very hard to get going…
never played it but
Weight: 3.27 / 5 on bggHaving played both, I think you're going to find it very different in terms of gameplay but similarly complex. Admittedly you can mitigate it a bit if you play the imperial player (who has to deal with a lot of mission administration). As a rebel player, it's definitely simpler, but would still take a while to get the hang of.
I'm on the fence about this one; a couple of friends already own it, but with the app coming, it is tempting. My main criticism is that often the rebel players are basically required to keep moving or resting to survive, which whilst true to the films means that you often spend your actions just doing things that aren't that fun. I'd probably recommend 3 players so that the two rebel players can have 2 characters each.
It is recognised as one of the best dungeon crawler games though and despite the above I had a blast playing it.
Recently, there was a great thread on boardgamegeek about dungeon crawler complexity here, which might be worth reading to help you decide: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1848358/dungeon-crawler-col…
Thanks! That's an awesome thread!
