Hi all,
I'm thinking about ditching my Telstra freedom plus for this Optus offer. The deal there expires on 27 September but I have til October 2 as I used the free trial of Optus Sport. I'm currently paying $40/month for 3gb and it's just not cutting it.
I have about $300 Telstra credit. I currently pay for Tunnelbear ($12/month) and recently subscribed to Google play music ($12/month). Since I'll be ditching the service I would like to purchase stuff for more than a month. I read somewhere that you could gift yourself Google play music subscriptions to yourself in the past, but that no longer seems to be the case. I'm not wedded to Tunnelbear it was just the first one I picked in Google Play and it works fine. I'm not really wedded to having a VPN either since Netflix is doing a pretty good job of blocking them.
The best use I can think for it is:
- Pokemon GO coins (yes still playing haha)
- A one year sub on a VPN (can't see the option to do this in the Tunnelbear app)
Does anyone have any other thoughts? Ideally I'd like a year sub to Google Play music (mainly for YT Red), and a one year sub to Netflix. I do not think either of these options are possible.
Cheers
EDIT: Ok so I can send Google Play Music gift subscriptions in up to 6 months increments, so I will use a bit of credit doing that. Other suggestions are appreciated :)
Can't you buy a gift card for Google Play music with the credit? (and then apply it to yourself)
